Andy Rector Elwy Yost on CBC. Not sure when it is from originally. He showed this clip of the interview when he broadcast Breathless on his show in the mid-80's. I would guess that the interview is from the late 70's when Godard was in Canada or from 1980 when he was promoting Sauve qui peut (although JLG looks younger in this than in the Dick Cavett interview).

@@casuallyeducational5081 I just caught up with this clip today. Andy is always so good at asking questions. I tend to agree with Casually Educational that it's most likely from when Godard was holding the discussions in Montreal in 1978, which eventually became known as "Introduction to a True History of Cinema and Television." I also agree he looks a little younger than in the Cavett interview from October 1980.
