Trust me if you see a Grandma driving she means buisness. Years ago all the hot rodders gathered at our local library. We hear the nastiest big block sound comming into the lot. It was a 67 fastback Mustang. As soon as it parked, eveyone gathered to find out what this car was. A very nice elderly Woman let us pull the hood and 😳 a genuine 427 2-4barrel medium riser intake, with lemans heads. We could not believe what we were looking at. She said her Son died in Vietnam who owned the car that she just drove it once in a while. We asked if she ever pushed the pedal down; she said she had rode in the car once when her Son gassed it And it scared her to death so she is afraid to hit the throttle. With all being said here, can you picture how Granny can set up a whole parking lot of racers. 😂

@Joey Balas I like a lot of different kinds of music but my favorite will always be a solid lifter, multi-carb FE big block Ford , singing thru a set of open headers at 7,000 RPM. Now that's music for your soul.

Thank you for your interest Ken. The car is, 7 years from the restoration and still in very good condition. Yes, I would entertain a good offer. This car is a tribute, not a 427 R code. This Z code factory car had the 390/4spd with a bench seat. We picked it up in CA w/ 66,000 miles.( garage kept ) The interior was excellent condition along with the rest of the car, which was the perfect car to restore as a tribute !! Currently the mileage is 70,630. We have added the ROTUNDA TACH, and are installing a McLeod RST dual disk clutch hydraulic system. This also has a HURST 4 spd vintage shifter. The car is a pleasure to drive, especially on the interstate. Sweet. After the restoration, the car appraised for $75,000.Are interested in making an offer?

The ' 66 Fairlane 427 was a close ratio tag # HEH-AM. ' 67 Fairlane 427 also was a close ratio tag #RUB-B-B1, B2 I have seen ' 66 Fairlane 427 4 SPD big shaft in and out. Thanks for your question. There is very little info, for those years, on these 427 cars.

Kerry, Thank you for your compliment. You should see the car in person! front wheels are 14x 6.5" rear wheels are 14x7" by Fomoco BFG front 215/70R14 rear 225/70R14 tower brace; I do have the brackets. Heim's ends & rod can be made, no loss in travel, only gain. Best wishes.

Sorry for the delay. That question has been asked before. I will entertain that, if you would like to make an offer, w/o the engine & transmission. I will wait for your replay. Thank you. P.S. We generally communicate through ebay.

Absolutely beautiful car, the attention to detail is first class...I have a question regarding your wheels. It appears that they are possibly wider than stock. What combo of wheels and tires are you using? I also noticed your shock tower brace, nice piece of engineering, did you have to use different shocks? Looks like you lost a couple of inches of travel. If you would drop me an email, I would like to ask some questions. I restore primarily mustangs and shelby's. Regards [email protected]
