Thanks for posting this although I feel that your video is somewhat lacking. What Soldering iron do you use, what kind of tip does it have and what temperature are you running it at? What kind of solder wire are you using, does it have rosin core? What kind of rosin? Do you ever use flux? Although your video is sped up I can't see any signs that you are using any type of heat sink when soldering diodes or leds, perhaps you could say something more about this.

Can it be operated with a battery or does a voltage starve device (volture) damage it?
@ToneCharmAudio16 күн бұрын
It can be powered only through DC jack, you can use external battery clip. It can be used with lower voltages but not with higher than 9V.

That's a beautiful Guitar. I have a Vintage SG Special with P90's. Gibson didn't make them like this at the time so I Grabbed it, the ugliest piece of wood I've ever seen but the Sound is incredible.... it's pretty much Tony Iommi's early SG. I'm going to strip it and give it a new finish, she's one of my favourites. Check out a DBZ Imperial.... .... Like a a Hot Knife thought Afghan Hash.

This is super cool, but I must admit I’m much more interested in your Nintendo Oscilloscope!! Can it also do FFT? Would you ever consider making those to sell? I’ve always wanted a pedal with an oscilloscope - I have a Vox pedal with one in it, but it’s more of a gimmick, the screen is too small, and there is no frequency analysis. Obviously you can get smart phone apps, but it’s not the same getting the signal through the phone mic…

It is a Korg DSN-12 syth with osciloscope-like visualisation of the sound. I created drum track with it, it was recorded with AMS-1 and DARASM as you see in the video. :)

The AMS sounds killer! What is the app you're running on the Nintendo DS? Is it in the pedal chain?
@ToneCharmAudio21 күн бұрын
Thank you! It's Korg DSN-12 for Nintendo 3DS. I created all the drum sounds in the intro with it. It was connected to AMS-1 and DARASM then straight to the interface.

I concur that Szczur sounds great with the bass alone. What I like to do also is to add a parallel clean signal to not lose the low end in the mix (I do this also with other high gain effects). This can be achieved e.g. with the Boss LS-2 leaving the second path unplugged with A+B setting enabled. This way you can actually add a dry/wet setting to any effect you want. As always, great video. Cheers!

How can I implement the ability to switch channels on my amp also? For example I'd like to switch from the amp Distortion to clean with chorus+delay in the loop of the pedal

It's more complicated and depends of amps construction.
