Many years ago, I did the same trip but in reverse.....Destin to Tampa aboard a 36' Tartan. We ran into a storm front from the North so we had a downwind sail. Huge seas! Two of the four people on board got severely sea sick (including the captain) so it left two of us to sail throughout the night, by hand. The Loran antenna was washed overboard so it left us with no working navigation. I was able to dead reckon us to within 10 miles of Tampa. Fun trip!

We are busy finishing a documentary film about modern life in Kyiv. I am a film maker that has been living in Kyiv for a very long time. We started this film project in 2018 and it is soon to be complete. We would like to please ask you for permission to use some small parts of your video (some visuals - just a few seconds) in the documentary film. The few seconds of visuals we would like to make use of will be used as a metaphor to show a nation being born. We will credit you in the film and we would be very grateful for your support. Many many KZbinrs are supporting the project and we hope you can too. We would be so grateful. The film offers a different view of Ukraine. A contemporary look at the nation’s capital, Kyiv. Everyone who has seen the film believes it will help Ukraine and that it is an important story to tell. We can send you more information and a synopsis if you want - please let us know. We can show you the film soon and also, we have a short 3 minute sizzle reel which we could show you. The film is not a commercial project. It is a non-profit venture and it has been many years of work - we are trying to do something good here, to help Ukraine. Any money we may receive from a distributor (if they say “yes”) we will donate to charities in Ukraine. All the money we have put into the film will not be recouped - it will all go to help Ukraine. We all believe that Ukraine will benefit from a film like this.

Absolute joy to watch. Just a hunch he's on a low aspect kite and not as powered up as others there. That's one of the secrets , that and hundreds of hours kiting
