In this same spot there's a huge snag to watch out for. I imagine you can just cut the line but I just exit the game and re-enter. All that aside the technique works great

i just let jig hit the bottom then at lowest speed,i tap R2, i dont raise my rod up or i tap L2 and R2 at same time at lowest reel speed,works both ways

I know this is in 2018, but I’m on ps4 and it’s not letting me put any lures on my rod. Please help me.

there are other factors that will have to do with equipping different lures. For example, only Casting Rods and Spinning Rods can equipment lures (like Jigs, Spoons, etc...), but you must have a strong enough line + reel + rod to even equipment jigs. Hope that helps.

Wrong rod. cant use the original float rod with lures.
