ETID has been my most played artist since I discovered them in like 2004. Would of loved to have been here.

My dear interlocutors, let us embark on an exploration of the song "Map Change" by Every Time I Die through the spirit of Socratic inquiry. This composition invites us to confront the ever-changing nature of existence. The metaphor of a map changing suggests a journey through life's complexities, where paths shift unexpectedly and challenges abound. Socrates, known for his relentless questioning and pursuit of truth, would see in this song a reflection of the human quest for understanding amidst uncertainty. The lyrics delve into themes of identity, purpose, and the search for stability within the chaotic currents of life. Socrates would encourage us to examine these themes with courage and introspection, seeking to understand ourselves and our place in the world through thoughtful inquiry. "Map Change" challenges us to question our assumptions and confront the challenges that shape our journey. It prompts us to embrace change not as a disruption, but as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. Socrates would applaud such introspection, urging us to navigate life's uncertainties with wisdom and resilience. In essence, "Map Change" serves as a philosophical exploration of the human experience, echoing Socratic principles of self-examination, intellectual curiosity, and the pursuit of truth amidst life's tumultuous changes. It encourages us to embrace the journey of self-discovery with courage and a commitment to understanding the deeper meanings behind our existence.

Still get chills from this. Growing up warped tour was the thing I looked forward to the most every year. My favorite holiday. Standing in this crowd while Jordan kept that riff going while the stage got broken down and then it started raining and the whole crowd was fucking blown away. Fucking living poetry. Couldn’t think of a better send off for the event that molded so much of my upbringing. Thank you warped tour

I briefly knew Toxic Scott from 1995-96. I came from Saginaw to GR and was living on Heritage Hill during that period. He came over to our rented house on Atwood St. He once brought a cassette tape of the band he had prior to this one. I think we all went to a show at the Reptile House Clutch, Supernova, I can't remember which it was. I just told him it was really bizarre sounding

The first time i watched ETID i was 14, andy played in nothing but whitey tighties, keith drank an entire bottle of jack on stage, i left with a black eye and a broken nose and a new favourite band. This was about a month after HotDamn was released. I knew nothing about hxc and hated it and the kids cuz im from the punk scene and they completely changed my whole outlook on all of it. 23 fuckin glorious years fellas.
