Unfortunately, I almost never get time to play outside of my streams, and I haven't played anything multi-player in almost a year. Civilization games in particular are loooong, so I will have to just say "no" to your offer straight up - I'd rather do that than mislead you with a polite "maybe some day". I feel for you. Multi-player games are fun, and it can be hard to find other people to play with. I'm not a member of any Civilization Discord servers, but perhaps another KZbinr can help steer you towards a community. Good luck.

@@matthewbernobich9413 Ah, thanks! Now I just need to figure out why I can't create products for any of my corporations. The project is listed but it's grayed (actually "redded') out with no explanation text for why. From my reading I think it may actually be a bug.

@@RollcageTV i'm not sure about that--i don't play with corporations very much. do you need any kind of resource to make a product that you might be lacking?

@@matthewbernobich9413 No. I did some research on line and tested some things out with the game between streams (both activities rare for me 😂), and it looks like it's just a bug. I uninstalled and reinstalled the relevant dlc, which may help for future games, but I think it's just something that was never fixed on console 🙁.

​@@RollcageTV neighborhoods are a good option, but other districts can be good too. encampments and campuses give a little housing (barracks/stables and universities) before you unlock neighborhoods, but you honestly don't always *want* more housing in a city until you want to build another district or have improved all your workable tiles. higher population means lower amenities, and happiness is more crucial than you'd think: *all* yields increase by 20% *empire-wide* at +3 amenities, and that increases to 40% at +5 amenities. at your current stats, that amounts to more than 50 science and around 30 culture *per turn*, not to mention the increased production and gold. this dwarfs the benefits you get from an extra population or two

@@dvdw7145 Actually , it's not Finland I was looking for, but "Vinland" with a 'V'. It was in North America in the Labrador/Newfoundland area, and was supposed to be a land of plenty, including wine (hence 'vine-land'). Being the first to visit it is a major victory condition in this scenario. (And sorry if I took up more than a minute with this explanation 😂.)
