I found your channel because i was searching for AMC cars. I love your video content but the music playing during the majority of the video made me click off. It would be better if you could talk about each car while you're videoing them. I'll check out more of your content but i hope it's not all like that. Love AMCs!

What is an AMX "SS"? I know what Go Pack options were, and have a basic idea of Rambler naming conventions, but I've never heard of these. Are they like the Ford T-Bolt and the Pontiac Tempest that they did just to drag and not really for street use? I know you could special order some pretty crazy stuff like Edelbrock performance manifolds with an AMC part number to compete as "stock". Anyway, thanks for preserving and sharing this footage. AMC's have become quite the rabbit hole for me these past couple years.
@TheAmericanMotorsGuy3 ай бұрын
American Motors built 52 SS AMX to compete in NHRA in the SS class ford had the 428 cobra mustang GM had the Camaro AMC only did it in 1969 the dealerships mostly raced them with records recorded they tried a front end update but the old suspension didn’t fly with NHRA SS class so in 1970 they went to a different class and raced that way for years

Where can I buy an AMC 401 engine to put into my 1973 Javelin? The original owner blew up the 401 and replaced it with a 360 2bbl engine. I want to have the 401 engine built to be a better than stock street cruiser without spending $3,200. Also, I want to buy a black center console.
@TheAmericanMotorsGuy3 ай бұрын
To find a 401 motor is going to be a search and a costly one too! Your best option would be make a post of the parts you are looking for then post to the pages for each club or group! Unsure of your location in the US but there was a sale going on in PA that had motors and car parts coming out of their ears! Option 2 a 360 can be built into a hell of a motor but if a 401 is the only thing that excites you be prepared hard to find a expensive

Thank you for posting this, I wish I was there, but you captured the cars really well. That is a great looking SC 360 at 11:33 into the video. whether it is a 3 speed manual or a 4 speed is a question mark, but a manual anyway. And a 1 of 100 RWB '70 Javelin at the show too, wow... and then there are the SS/AMXs! Too bad about the Cardan Javelin that was originally wild plum... not that orange is bad, but wild plum is perfect for that car. At 15:00... the 71 Matador had manual floor shift - so a 4 speed... if original, then that is a Matador "Machine". At 17:50, the 67 Rebel wagon also has a floor shifter - a 4 speed was a factory option, as was bucket seats.

Nice video of “most” vendors at the AMO show. We had just a terrible vendors spot that most people didn’t even know there were like 6 or 7 of us stuck on side of building on grass. So many people told me later they never found our spot, as you must of missed it to as we weren’t in your video. As they assigned the spots alphabetical order, so the people with names A, B, C or beginning of alphabetic got good spots right behind show cars, and me with the end of Alphabetic got stuck in back next to fence where so many people never found me! But even the good spots with that large pieces of rocks were very hard to walk on, and we have a mobility scooter which couldn’t even drive on those large rocks! I feel this was the worst area I ever saw for a vending area for any car show I have been to the last 40 years! Plus it would had been nice they had a sign saying vendors also down that back row where we were. On a positive note, I now am a subscriber and will be following your videos with likes!

Hi, now I watched all your videos, and you named this one vendors part 6, and you do have my vendor spot for a minute. So anyhow I am about the end of getting rid of my extra parts, so this probably will be my last time vending at a AMO meet.

Well i tried to get everyone and everything one camera my daughter showed up to help me. They had people on top of people to make enough room for all the vendors as I said I tried to get all the vendors and cars I had a agreement with a few of the vendors who allowed me to put them on my channel AMark , Gordy Alex and Austin and Cally I would love to have more parts suppliers to talk about do you know how to use zoom ?

Is there anything I can do that would help do you want to do a quick video on your items for sale we can make that happen I tried to go through the parts area 4 different times on Friday and two times on Saturday I did lose some footage due to the heat on Friday we you say you were on the grass by the fire trucks or next to the driveway leading to the back I started filming at 6 am
@christobaldaetz60627 ай бұрын
Some of the AMC owners don't like to drive their cars very much. I have always been a fan of the drive-through judging. It would also help the judges so that they wouldn't have to walk all over the place. We are all getting older. Thanks for sharing this video.
@TheAmericanMotorsGuy7 ай бұрын
One of my points another is if you watch closely you will see a judge walking with a cane. That’s why I think a drive thru judge would be better! Leave the cup cars parked judge them where they park. Daily Drivers and everyone else should be able to do the drive thru
