Did that kit get reissued recently? Or is that like from 90's or so?

I made this kit in 1970. Than it was a good kit to make. I have a new one . Your video got me thinking about it.

I hope your's works out better for you than mine did. With mine I found problems with the wheel folding option (like a lack of stops) for the wheels when they are in the open position. I might revisit it and just build it into one configuration instead of being able to convert, possibly while it is in the hover mode gliding on the guard rails, with the backdrop. Good job on the Ford Tri-motor even if it is an old kit.

Its a nice model, but I heard that it can be a bit challenging to build. I would`nt know, since I never built it yet 😀 But actually I`m working on a halloween build myself, it has been stalled a couple of years, but now I`m expecting to have it finished in time for halloween. I will follow your build. Happy modelling 🙂

I built my "Li'l Coffin" back in 1964 and 30 years of moving all over the world it got crushed. I am in the process of restoring it if I can find all the pieces. I did use the motor in a 1957 Chevy El Camino that I fabricated so I will have to make another motor for it.

Interesting model. I am surprised the chassis / frame is so small compared to the overall car body. This is one model I have never built. You can't go wrong with a car model that has a skeleton LOL I think the stitched pattern on the interior roof might be called "Pleats" ? I'm not sure. I'm looking forward to you build 👍

Such a cool project. I love this. Awesome job trimming the fenders off. I love it. Try to paint over the orange plastic with silver. Either use your primer and then spray silver over it or spray silver primer if you can get it. Seems to work pretty great as a color block in my experience.
@LefthandedJohn25 күн бұрын
Thanks. I had for gotten about using silver to block the color. As I write this the painted parts are soaking in East Off oven cleaner to get the paint off. The orange bled through the primer and white paint.
@kyledehartsscaleworks25 күн бұрын
@@LefthandedJohn I understand. And you’re welcome! I hope the silver color block will help!!
