This is possibly one of the best live vids, but why don't they show the lead guitarist at all, is it because he's Japanese, that's some weak racist shit.

Only thing I have to say is I can’t really hear your playing, I don’t doubt that you can’t play this song. I just rather we would be able to hear your playing JUST a little bit more than the original

0:03 is me playing guitar. Throughout the whole song the volume is at the same level. Thrice's guitars are hard panned left and right while my guitar is in the centre. I hear every single note I played just fine. I also did an instrumental cover for that same song if that helps

Clean ! Any help with the tabs or where I can get a good reference ?
@awrely10 ай бұрын
I used Teppei's playthrough on the Ernie Ball KZbin channel for his part since the tabs online are crap. He is in Drop D while Dustin plays the song in E Standard. Dustin's part is pretty much accurate in any tabs you will find online except there is some layering at the end.

Wrong. Dead Wake is the best after Color of the Sky
@BM-qd9go Жыл бұрын
Lol @ "wrong" Easily several songs better than Dead Wake. Theres a reason its a B-side
@Thricecube57 Жыл бұрын
@@BM-qd9go B-sides don't mean weakest songs. They also mean songs that don't musically or thematically fit the album. In this case, neither.
@BM-qd9go Жыл бұрын
@@Thricecube57 Certainly not always, but generally any song that is "the best on the album" will not be relinquished to a B-side. Its all subjective of course, so we'll have to agree to disagree. At least we're on the same page with Color of the Sky, what an amazing opening to the album
