Oh my goodness, you went all-out with this one! Incorporating black-light-reactive goodies just brought it to a whole new level. I can tell a lot of time and effort went into this collaboration. It was great fun to watch!

I just love this paper! The texture is just perfect for smaller paintings. It’s nice and white and colours show up beautifully. If you have any Schmincke super granulating paint, it is just wonderful on this paper.

I am struggling with burnout for lots of reasons. I have worked in dialysis for 24 years and worked though the pandemic. My job has become more demanding over the past year, my husband was diagnosed with cancer during the pandemic, and someone very close to me passed away last Friday. I have been questioning my current career for a while now, but feel trapped due to needing my current salary and insurance. Art is my happy place, it brings me joy. I dream of creating more art and scaling it; I’ve been told that I should. I’m frequently exhausted a lot due to work. Btw, husband is currently in complete remission. Trying to sort things out and cope. Thank you for your amazing art and transparency. Thank you for “listening”.

I absolutely love Neocolor II crayons - they are heavily pigmented - I often use them more like buttery colored pencils - they especially cool on black drawing paper - I have used them w/ H2O and then added oil pastel in layers on top - the oil pastels are soluble in mineral spirits, but the wax based NCII color underneath remains intact since it is water soluble only : )
