Scotland is on a par with the US when it comes to throwing away its architectural heritage. The number of amazing buildings I’ve seen Scotland lose since the year 2000 it’s something I didn’t think was possible in Britain anymore after we came to our senses after the 60s and 70s, obviously not.

It's the death nell of many such historical places when they convert them into care homes, or, mental hospitals. It's a shame that they become abandoned and fall into disrepair. Smooth flight around the place though🤗

Thank you! I haven't seen the Northern LIghts in over fifty years. I've never forgotten that one display. I feel safe saying I stood in the fields watching it for over an hour, mesmerized. We have heavy cloud coverage here. Every time the news has said the northern lights will occur, the heavy clouds have obscured everything, even preventing color bleeding through the clouds. Great to see this. Diane, using Joe's tablet.

For me, this brig represents the sad demise o the Scottish Engineering Industry!
@ChrisM5412 ай бұрын
No government should be asking their population to pay excessively for something when an alternative does the job at a fraction of the cost. You already know that those 'old, grand' engineering triumphs cost money...a lot of money, and to replicate that today would involve an insane amount of money. Yes, it would be nice to have but to not have it is obviously NOT "the sad demise o the Scottish Engineering Industry". It IS common sense.

Looks like no lanes have been put down to separate bikes from walkers.

Pedestrians would ignore them, cyclists would feel entitled to ride fast. None of the pedestrian bridges that cross the Clyde segregate cyclists and pedestrians.
