+Maick95 Ibanez CF7 pedal, it has a "wacked" setting that basically jacks up all the parameters on it by a lot, causing that super rapid flanging/chorus sound.

I must be the only one that cringes when Omar tries to improvise because you can tell he has no idea what he's doing. It leads to some creative ideas in the studio, but it can sound terrible live.

Nah man, I love his improvisation as a guitarist myself, it's just the wicked delay that's off, and those things are hard to work around, one small screw up and you're screwed.

not at all dude, one of the worst sets ive seen in my life was Mars Volta opening for Rage Against the Machine, dude went off on a 20 minute solo spree...pretty damn terrible.
