Impressive rig. I wanted one of those Pottinger T8 mowers to pull behind my New Holland T8 tractor but they've been discontinued. They'd be perfect for high-hp tractors with no front hitch & PTO. It's also cool to see the BiG M mowing as well.

Incredible mower for the high-hp tractors without front hitch and PTO. Apparently there was little demand, with less than 10 units sold worldwide according to a dealer I spoke with. I would've loved to bought one but sadly they've been discontinued. It's too bad someone doesn't build a trailed center-pivot frame without mowers, that you could attach any brand of triple mower to.

Jeff Michel instead of mowing by height the common practice is by schedule usually 30-35 days. By mowing more often instead of taller the growth usually gets thicker. More often also keeps the stems finer which is more digestible making it have a higher feed value which means less grain needed to supplement the ration. Mowing more often even though your taking less tonnage per cutting over the season actually results in a higher yield.

its not a fair comparison, choppers need a big feed of grass to operate properly or they choke on it!

930 or 933, American spec's, has axles. 933 biggest u can buy in US.

@77farm The point would be weight distribution. Allowing you to handle a triple mower combo with a smaller tractor, and saving you the cost of a fronthitch+pto on the tractor. And it is to attach and un-hook from the tractor, so that you dont have a tractor tied up to the mower most of the season if you are an ag-contractor. This is really quite brilliant... Now add an attachment so you can put 18 meters in an swath...

Funny to read some of this comments. I can't believe that some of you in North Amerika don't know how these wagons work. Here in Europe they are a real alternative to the chopper. And this one shown is by far not the biggest one. Greetings from a German farm...
