Hi, I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs. Would you recommend the 12' or the 13'2" voyager? I'm a beginner but don't mind the challange of learning. Believe I have good balance, doing yoga, etc. Like to enjoy mostly calm lakes and some slow rivers. .
@GeoffHolman5 ай бұрын
I would suggest the 12 might be a little more versatile.

Looks like fun. What river? I was already thinking about using my DIY 12' fiberglass and foam paddle board for our next family canoe camping trip here in Pennsylvania.... And this video has convinced me.

Nice vid - and that terrain looks awesome. Damn coquihalla always keeps us from getting to Big White. I had the Dynafit Rotation 14 in my cart until I read a few threads about how great the Tectons are. Found a place in France with the new 13 DIN version for "cheap" and am stoked to get some on my first touring setup on the new Faction Agent 3.0.

@@GeoffHolman Think I'd be nuts to throw a pair on Black Crows Anima if I intend on spending most of my time in resort with the odd slack country hike or stick with salomon 16's for the big boys?
@GeoffHolman Жыл бұрын
@@bretts7037 Just depends what you want to do. You could always own a couple pairs of skis :) I find I shy away from using the heavy setups if I know I an going for a longer trek.

How do these compare to the Dynafit Rotation ST ?
@GeoffHolman2 жыл бұрын
Have not tried the Dynafit Rotation ST. But compared to something like a ion 12 from these are beefer options with more of a secure feeling.

I'm highly considering either those bindings mounted to Black-Crows Atris 184cm next season 2023. How do either feel when skiing hard pack conditions like when snow has settled from being compacted from other skiers and where it is groomers. Do you feel as supported as a traditional binding, eg Marker Jester 16 ID? or does it feel more like an old Dynafit pin, lack of suspension and rather rattily? My idea is to make the ultimate versatile set-up (mind that everyone has a different ski in mind). This set up I will use 75% of the season, the other 25% is on a 2019 Black Crows Nocta 191cm with Marker Jesters 16 ID.

Nice board. Though in all these videos they always show people hand pumping lol. Not realistic after you've owned one for a while you will buy an electric pump and just keep the manual pump to top it off at the end.

You are correct. I also picked up a electric pump. I still use the hand pump as a backup.

Are the shifts damper than Tectons on ice or is the difference negiligble?
@GeoffHolman3 жыл бұрын
Both are very confidence inspiring bindings when in variable terrain. To answer your questions, I would say the Shift is slightly more damp when in downhill mode.
