I had a 1982 Yamaha DT175; everything looks the same except the pin stripes on the fuel tank; even the color is the same; candy red. My cousin and I bought it together for $975 (MSRP $1275?) in 1982 brand new from a dealer that was going out of business. We had it for 5 years and only put on 2000 miles. I was only 18 y.o. back then. After I sold it I was still having dreams about riding that bike, doing wheelies til I turned 50.😁

Looks brand new. Did you restore it? Had a Yellow 1978 DT 125E Yamaha back in middle school and high school. Super fun and reliable. Recall that sound when you started it up.
