it would be more interesting if you can state in one word why you chose a particular item and also one drawback. Because some item seems to be chosen randomly (while in the beginning of the video you said you said you chose thing carefully because of the limited amount of space). thank you for the video

I'm a software dev so for me it's much easier and I always wondered whether media production is viable - thanks for sharing! How are you allowed two carry on bags? Almost every airline I've been on would instantly complain unless the second bag is nothing more than a minimal laptop container :| Also how do you fit within 6kg limit? Best tip I have is pants with big pockets and a fanny pack - put all the heavy stuff there and wear all of the heavy clothes. No airline ever dares to complain about these :D I also recommend: - 20k mah power banks - I always carry two eloop e45's that have 65W output (enough to charge a laptop) and that's max allowed on flights. - ditch the hard drive for cloud storage as internet is really fast these days (compress your files too). They're heavy and unreliable when traveling. It only takes 1 broken hard drive to learn this lesson 🥲

Yes! I forgot to mention a power bank. Definitely a must. Every airline I've been on allows two carry-on bags. Occasionally, I'll have to check it in if the airplane is smaller or if they weigh the bag 🫣 but I try to weigh my bags beforehand to prevent paying any fees. I've definitely worn the weight as well lol!

Hey the external hard drive I would suggest looking into an SSD hard drive. I’ve had the one you have a couple times and they have crashed out of nowhere. SSDs are a little safer to travel with. Just my opinion

@@archuletavirtual I use Sandisk Extreme Pro, just what I’ve been able to get Ahold of, but haven’t had any issues. Thanks a usb to lightning adapter or whatever phone you have and it shows up in the files app.

Hi Alexis, Thanks a lot. I have couple of questions. How about Focusrite solo 3rd gen? Is this enough? Is 2i2 any better or different? How do you record your podcast, I mean the video? How do you connect your microphone to the camera? or do you record both video and audio separately and combine them during editing? This is the part that's most confusing to me. What software do you use for recording and editing the video and audio?

Great questions! Yes to the Focusrite solo 3rd gen. I actually linked to that as well in the show description. If you're only recording solo, then I recommend that. If you plan to record with a guest or co-host in person, then I'd do 2i2. You'll record your video podcast on a camera and record audio separately. You'll sync it together in post. I use Audition and Premiere Pro. Hope that helps!
