Looking at an 05 8480. Anything I should look out for? Has about 4800 hours. In one of your videos you said there’s a big difference between your 07 and 05? Using it primarily for tillage and grain cart. Thanks in advance

The 05 was the first year. The 05 has definitely given us more issues over the years. We think it was because it was the first year. But it could also be luck of the draw. The tier 3 seems to have a much noticeably quieter cab. But it could just be our older one is more warn out. The 05 are all tier 2 engines from what I know. The newer models are Tier 3. The tier 3 is rail fuel injection and much higher horse power is truly the biggest difference. I like the Sv finger tip controls a lot more too than the blue joystick. But the joystick is very nice to run the bucket system we have on that tractor. Hopefully that helps.
