Used to live in the old lock keepers cottage at the centre of the 3 way split. It was a lovely spot and holds many very fond memories. Dewsbury is an underrated town, I enjoyed living there and often think of it. The canal walks were brilliant and I would urge anyone who can to take a stroll.

Caulms Wood was once a stunning place. Well maintained by the local council (pre Kirklees) and was opened by David Bellamy on the 6th June 1987. Under Kirklees, all upkeep ceased, and the place has become overgrown and messy. Still one of my favourite places to visit when the weather is beautiful. The views across to Huddersfield and beyond are stunning.

Still keep coming back to watch your vids. It's a shame that you packed it in, no doubt due to the new drone laws that a minority of irresponsible drone pilots forced on us. In my opinion, you were without doubt, one of the best drone pilots to put videos on youtube. The videos are well thought out and shot, far enough in scope to be worth watching and your soundtrack with the wind sound and birdsongs are inspired. Nothing worse than trying to watch drone footage with ill chosen and incongruous background music. Thank you for your videos.
