Thanks for the news. My understanding is that finalizing means that the agreements have been made and then get written down and are sent for signing. It means that both parties have one last chance to commit to the fight and sign the contract or come up with other minor requests or conditions before signing. This coming from ESPN makes it very likely that it's almost done. It's actually not surprising that Peofino is interested in doing the fight, considering that the other champions have commitments already and that there are very few other options to make any kind of money. Haney is clearly too much of a diva to agree to being the B-side, and Peofino doesn't want to fight those that don't bring any money, like Hiraoka, Barbosa, Delgado or others.
