Pretty cool, first you see the US Space and Rocket Center along I-565, you're headed west then turn to south to land. That long runway was extended to 10.000 feet a few years back. It is frequently used for KC-135 refueler training. Unfortunately when we fly out of there, it's early morning in the dark, and return flights late evening, in the dark.

It's not abnormal for small planes to take advantage of long runways like that. Better to use the thrust reversers to slow the plane down rather than wear out the breaks. Great video!

@afcaj0od thanks very much for the hissy fit. westbound transatlantic flights are during the day, in april, i left gatwick at 1:00pm and arrived at 5pm, it was a nine hour flight. I know that. Just today, i took a close friend up to heathrow for a flight to boston, that left at 3pm, they arrive at 5pm, you can't get tired watching something. they have in flight entertainment - seatback screens. And tiredness can't tire you out enough not to be able to hold a camera. You need to think b4 u write.

@Ben123planes How do you know this has been during the day? and there is a difference between the Newark and Amsterdam local time... im taking the cont. 757-200 from Amsterdam to Newark just as this guy...and we are leaving at 9:15 in the morning and we will arive are 12 mid-day NY local...but that doesn't mean it is a 3 hour flight... it actually is a 8 and a half hour flight you can get tired of sitting in a plane nd Doing nothing else but watching the wings

@FSXforChrist It's a 737-700BBJ and probably ER. Those can fly about 6,300 miles. Considering it's business jet and not full payload, it can make the 5010 mile journey between AMS and HOU

IF you can read Norwegian... Here can you read about a NON-STOP flight from Seattle to Norway with a 737-800!!!. SO.....DO YOU BELIVE IT NOW????

:-))))).....Itsn true, Norwegian flew a 737-800 nonstop from Seattle to Norway(Gardermoen,Oslo). In fact, a friend of mine where F.O when they flew LN-NOF nonstop. When the dont carry PAX they can add more fuel. But because the 737 isnt ETOPS qualified they cant flay across the Atlantic with PAX :-D

The noise of engines has nothing to do the being old. RR engines have different noise than GE or PW engines due to their structure and mechanical behavior.

We landed on June 3rd (ZRH-EWR CO79) 757-200 - and a very nice flight! I dont like the onboard entertainment system though (wired remote control) The touchscreens on the 767 are cool.
