Wow I just read an article where Val admits that he knew janel was catching feelings but he didn’t take the time to pull her aside to separate the personal from professional because he was so focused on trying to win so he just let the lines blur.

that's interesting because when i was watching this season, i got a vibe that she was into him and he wasn't but then he looked SO jealous after that burlesque with Artem that i wasn't sure. at the same time, it looked like he was acting so i was led to believe he was milking it to higher their chances of winning. guess i wasn't wrong!

She's as good as any of the professional female dancers they've had on the show. Unbelievably talented. I just learned she and Val were involved during their time on the show and had to go back and look at the chemistry. Wow. She's Amazing.

sometimes they do this thing called “switch up” where the dancers switch partners for one week for a dance. i guess it’s just to see how well they can dance with someone other than their normal partner
