Hi Russell. A quick question. Vicpol app gives the illinois agility test 9.14 metres between the side lines but on google I found the illinois agility with 10metres between side lines . Which one we have to follow ? Is mistake the 9.14?

Hello, do I need to have a work history, to join the academy?

I attempted a practice set by someone who sat the AFP exam and the patterns were 1000x more complex than this. Feeling pretty discouraged to be honest. Seems almost impossible.

Has anyone ever failed there psych test and reapply again and got on the following year.

Do you get the chance to know some/all of your scores, or is it just a case of sitting in the OOM, and if you get called up you had good scores?

For Victoria Police, in terms of score for candidates in the pool.. Are you marked up for more push ups, higher beep test score etc?

Hi there, I have recently passed the application stage and have been sent the Police exam welcome pack and the supplement pack. I currently live in WA and am planning to move to Victoria very shortly. I was wondering where the exam should be held? Can I do the exam here in WA?

i looked at this image on the practise test for 5 mins and could not find a pattern, i really feel like this is reaching. considering you only get less than 30 seconds for each question. this is a straight up trap

Well this is true with all jobs, not just the police force.

Which is why I studied hard prior to my entrance exam. I didn’t want to just pass. I wanted to get more than a passing mark. And sure enough, I got my results back, and I did better than the minimum score.

I am worried now. I thought everyone gets that invitation 😢

I've already made my comments on another add. Not too flattering. I say that after 41 years with Vicpol. Covid response changed my entire tune.

Sound advice in case things don’t pan out well. After seeing so many videos talking about how to do various parts of the assessment, it’s a good change of pace to hear tips on what to do if things don’t work out.

It’s all just common sense really. Don’t post anything offensive. Or better yet, just deactivate/delete social media altogether.
