@jacojordaan5143 i pioneered that technique, no joke. I told a few friends, and I'm guessing they told a few people. The upgraded version is once a week we do a all day system wipe with a looter tailing us. We spam the locations in the corp chat. But honestly, we are making enough where we don't have to do that anymore. We typically reserve it for tritanium since it takes a lot of effort to move it. We also got jump freighters that can make the trip to jita in one jump.

@jacojordaan5143 Back in the early days of flying, i used the grappler. But it was using too much cap. My bounties were on 30m ish, so I swapped it out with the salvage to help compensate. Eventually moved to null, and defense became an issue until a guy suggested shield command. Well ratting scaled up from there and it basically became cheaper to just buy materials. Its like I said before we keep a open fleet for smaller players to tail us for bounties and loot. It's actually faster than mining it out and it gives them access to things they otherwise can't get solo.

@anthonywoodham4175 Man, there's so much more to it. I only use the 3 units unless I'm doing a frp or something at range. The rest of its defensive stuff. I can't stress enough how severe the penalties on them are, though.

@anthonywoodham4175 my advice is if you're run a cyan do not neglect those skills. There's about 7,500 dps in it.

@axelronco1642 they can be mixed. You can't mix a single tube like half and half. If you want to do 2 tubes of light fighters and 1 tube assault or any combo that's fine. The tubes itself can't be mixed.

I suppose that depends. The last time I used a battleship was dominx navy issue. It was made for taking out wasteseekers. I've heard rumors of 20k dps. But new battleships have came out since and I honestly haven't heard much beyond the annihilator.

In all honesty, there are 3 things you really have to consider. Survival, stopping power, and speed. But also versatility if you do other things other than rat I'd go with a drone boat. Mainly because of the nestor.

There's a general unit that allows it. But there's huge penalties on dps and ehp. You need the other general unit to add some off the dps back. But also upgrading the mothership command skills also helps offset the negative.

Also keep in mind both general units are extremely expensive.

I was fully capable of soloing the entire rift. However, the only thing I was unable to maintain was the capacitor due to the rift penalties and the number of rats neutralizing said capacitor. 1:44 and at other times, I would jump the gate several times to recharge. I just cut out all the unnecessary jumping.

In my defense, audience retention averages a minute and 40 seconds. I'm probably going to cut back the time even further.

If you can afford it better do it while they're still relatively cheap. But don't put yourself in a position to lose them. I think it's about 10-15b for a set.

@RenaKan-j6d if you're in hisec doing hisec stuff, it's not really needed. However, if you're in null and your corp regularly does rifts and stuff. I don't mean DR just nds, ctrs, and rally points. Yeah, get a set. Normal firebolgs go for 2.4b each. The event ones are only 600m a pop. However, the reason I say get a set is if they're using supers and or support shits... killing fighters can be extremely lucrative. Like 150m plus bounties. See, your job is kill small stuffs their job is to kill carriers. The bounty stacks like crazy.

@RenaKan-j6d also if you get a set i recommend the light superiority fighters. They're infact my go to set.

@hanifpastime you can't do either if those in a sub cap maybe first level of law. Lvl 10 imprisoned is a massive capital fleet with the titan. All you have to kill is the titan, though, but surviving solo is impossible without a super. Maybe with an ultra brick dread. Law requires you to keep the nestor alive you have to kill a lot of ships extremely fast.

@aldrichreborn9145 Well, it did, in reality, take like 20 minutes. But there's several consistent strikes. However, it does infact hit 100% around 55 km. And at 75 km, taking into consideration that they're slowly creeping towards me, I could do it in half the time.

@axelronco1642 depends on where and what you're doing. I've only recently got the bombard, so I've been using aerospace. I rat in null, and I wish I had got the bombard first. If someone locks you down, there are only 2 ways to break it. A. Get someone to cone help B. Kill the ship yourself. If your fighters can't catch the ship, you're just screwed. Based on the stats, the bombard has no issue with boosting speed. Admittingly, I don't know how the dps looks on that implant.

@axelronco1642 if you're only in hisec aerospace is sustained dps. Nothing special needed to make it work.

@kevinv5193 I rat in null. In all honesty, you're better off ratting with something like a bs Navy issue or one of the faction ships with the ai. They're way way faster on the auto pilot mode.

@kevinv5193 I'm not saying turning it gold is a waste of time. You got a whole new side to work on, but you need entry books for that. I'm just saying there's better ships to use the ai on. You can't buy the crystal from the market. Maybe the store and maybe from events but not tradable.
