Great video mate. I know exactly where you where camped there on the manning, we used to paddle there all the time. Just upstream from where you where is a rapid we used to call the big dipper, great for river surfing at the right level. There used to be big canoe slalom competitions held at the bridge just downstream. Thanks for showing such a memorable spot.

Hi buddy. My dad was a forester at bellangry back in the 70s, He would never take us kids to the punchbowl saying it was too dangerous. I've been camping on the the Wilson river now for 50 odd years, beautiful beautiful river. Many years ago the CSIRO declared it the cleanest river in NSW. Hey thanks for the memories mate.👍👍🇦🇺

Hi Andrew a stack typically means a focus stack. Where you can't get the entire scene in focus in a single image so need to focus on near, middle then far and stack to achieve a sharp image front to back.

Very nice video mate, thank you. Found it starting my research of "easy" tracks to take my Subaru AWD to - don't think it'll make it through this path but was still a pleasure to watch. If you could recommend an easier track that one could do in a Subaru Outback Sport, I'd appreciate it.

Great video. So we are keen to head down and check this track out. You finish up at Hill End can I ask the best place to start? We have heard of another track Bridge to Bridge? Is that at the start?

The track starts on the north side of bathurst. The bridge to bridge is totally separate and not a formed track like the bridle.

The mid-north beaches are great for camping and some relaxed 4x4 driving - Delicate Nobby even allows you to bring your dog! Lots of easy walking tracks too, the tracks at Diamond Head (Crowdy Bay NP) and Perpendicular Head (Kattang NR) are my favourites!
