Ese Mike , amazing always. Sit down and do it in every key ....what ever you are learning. That's a very pro adviced....that's what my teacher says , YOU GOTTA BE ABLE TO PLAY EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IN EVERY KEYS , THAT WILL TAKE YOU TO TO A REAL FLOW ALL OVER THE INSTRUMENT. YOU GOTTA PLAY THE MELODY WITH BOTH HAND THE SAME AS YOU PLAY WITH YOUR MOST POWERFUL HAND. THAT'S WHAT ART TATUM, OSCAR PETERSON AND FEW OTHERS DID. BUT WE ARE A BIT TO LAZY TODAY. Ajmah Jamal said that TATUM played his whole set or a song , with one time listening with his Left Hand 🤕 That was crazy talent and practice in TATUM time. Jamal says there isn't any one who can play the piano like TATUM till this day out there...and he means anyone! To practice my fellow musician.

People always ask how do you get better in certain keys, theres no deep answer. YOU MUST SIT DOWN AND PUT THE TIME IN!

True but knowing your theory can help you draw chords/ progressions and fit into different scale # on other keys and typically our comfort of playing in one key can increase if you learn the neighbor keys around the circle of 4th/5ths but he's right if you want to master in that key you gotta shed it out.
