my dad has a Luna 26 Motorsailor which has a much more inviting wheelhouse with two forward facing pilot seats and a U-shape bench in the back - down in the saloon it has the restroom and kitchen on the left and a dinette on the right.

If you have what I think must be considerably more money than the 30 commands, this is really a much improved layout. Everything except the foc'sl berths are better. Except the 3 opening lockers found on the early versions of the 30... much missed.

Truth be told, much as I love the 30, the seat in the pilot house is to short to lie down on, and really too narrow for sitting... unless you extend it into the path through the doorway. (because of the pilot house notching in at shoulder height.) In the 25 it is such an evil joke you see the crew sitting in the cockpit underway even in bad weather. So, this wheel house is heaven for comfort And... if you need to lie down underway while at the helm, or your passengers do... you actually can do so. One really wants to soak in the outside world anyway... so many of your waking hours wil be spent topside. I think there is room for an L shaped settee on the port side with a table. Nice spot to eat.

Nobody ever shows the sails when they sell. Along with the halyards and sheeting the way they are coiled on the mast and in the cockpit, it tells a story.

I see the tube is brand new. Now, since in the last video Goodwin still has her old tube and in the previous one Harry said he'll refrain from retubing her in the near future, I wonder if there's been another accident like that time Goodwin's bow got caught on the trailer and ripped.

It's a nice boat to stay aboard but always keep in mind that motorsailors rely on their motor. Even though pretty, these boats are tubs that need favouring winds. Passages against wind? Nope. Not gonna happen. But they're pretty and roomy. So depends on your use. But indeed very nice walkthrough.

Cheers Django - nice idea, but sadly not keen on taterash - but I do love your music though, and you were a huge influence on one of my favourites Mr. Les Paul himself.
