I am a retired old chap, but I was a manager at Curtin University KALGOORLIE for a long time and I remember meeting two brilliant young ladies at the Goldfieilds Arts Center and I am pretty sure these might be they. ??? Will Sullivan

Mousie Kentucky Old Regular Baptist Church. No air conditioning, wood floors, creek ran by the church, and that's where folks got baptized. These were the 1970s and 80s. My Dad was a member, and my mother was lost, but she respected Dad and brought us to church. Dad passed on a few years ago, Mom has been saved for years now. Anywho, I'm now over 50 and have never heard anything more beautiful than Kentucky ORB Singers. Shirley (somebody) had a grocery store nearby. My Mother named me after her. Sorry I can't remember her name.

One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard! 😪 Written by some post-WWII Japanese, set to music by Pete Seeger and then performed by his niece with such a wonderful voice. So sad that she is gone..

I can never wrap my head around the way their sound makes me feel. In a way it reminds me of the bell ringing at my tiny old church..almost ethereal, yet at the same time so tangible. It's one of, if not the most, real and transparent love songs I've ever heard.

Closed captions seem inaccurate at parts. Please include lyrics in description. Helps people with med conditions + people for whom English is a second language.

I heard this song on the radio, and after it was done I rushed over and googled "Radio John". Great song! I am a longtime John Hartford fan, and now I have someone else to add to the list of musicians I'm a fan of.
