Love this deck. Mine is a little different as I try to give my opponents as many creatures as I can manage for maximum Kardur chaos. Mass Hysteria is a must include in my opinion because Kardur's ability is a little different than goad as it doesn't only affect the creatures that are already on the battle field, but new creatures that come into play as well, making cards like possibility storm and whatnot even more effective (especially in my playgroup with lots of dragons mwahahah).

I've been soloing this deck since 2022 and yes. The number of upgrades i did on it is not on track. +1/+1 - Shivan Devastator from DMU. It 2 CMC 0/0 with a +1/+1 counter that has evasion and can grow during the end step is yummy. Omarthis - Guess who is broken If we give 3x a +1/+1 to any creature in a turn? Stonecoil Serpent -A +1/+1 creature for 1? Yes! Auras - Audacity = rancor at home, for the sake of redundancy. Hammerhead = 1 cmc, makes stuff harder to block, gives haste and creates a tengu. Spells thht gives you Roles - bonus points! Equip - For Mirrodin! Stuff goes pretty well. The gruul elf from DMU gives you ramp an cheerios on your equipments AND treasures if you can make them. Thran Armor from BRO - Ward AND a huge buff. Lavaspour boots - Howdy! Ward! The reaver cleaver - If this wasn't reprinted recently on the lost unwanted deck of the rotation, I'ld never recommend that. But it is now 3 USD😂. Generic stuff - Oil counters !!!!!! They are pretty much forgetable and with a bit of proliferation... Guess who can attack with a 10/10 😂? Also, 90% of the cards are pretty cheap! Evolving Sage - grab something back every turn? Why not? Garruk's Uprising - It is cheap now and gives trample. Invasion of Ikoria - PseudoTutor that is easly flipped by a first striker and can pretty much end games. Tarmogoyf's Nest - Would place this on the list of Auras, but at the end of the day it is just a token generator. A BIG token generator. From Beyond - Another Token Generator that gives you a little bit of ramp. I have like... 2 binders full of upgrades 😂 Valduk. Listen here... This is the subvoltron part of the deck ❤ this gives you more tokens to go wider.

ive played this game once and i won all 5 games. mostly because i was new and didnt really understand the steal mechanic of the game. i then brought the game purely to work out if this was a flaw and it turns out you genuinly can win just by constantly scoring instead of stealing as long as everyone else steals. people get so obsessed with the pile of 10 blues (or any colour) they dont realise theres only 5 blues left and 2 of them have likely already made it into a score pile meaning even if you steal those 10 you then have a 2 in n (n being the number of cards left) chance of scoring them. whereas the single red, green orange and yellow you have has a much higher chance. the only time stealing benefits you is if you know theres been 2 other "red,green,orange" and they where red and orange you know its green and you have no greens you steal from someone else. or if you dont want to keep track of the 35 combos then you know for certain someone has all 3 and you have 0 of the colours. its a game that can be won just by not being chaotic enough to steal. at the end of the day even if you dont match the card you still add a scoring option for the next round. the only time you become vulnerable is if you have 5 colours and someone steals. if no one steals from you the maximum number of goes is 12. the average is 9. the minimum is 6. and if someones winning stealing from them gives them a potential extra chance, because youre taking away the cards that are going to be less likely to be in the deck and possibly giving them a new winning colour

Hii! So I believe after the 1st round, the saboteur will be revealed.. doesnt that makes an easy win for the miners for the next 2 rounds? And if theres's no saboteur when choosing the character cards.. whats the purpose then? Im curious.. 😅

Sol Ring has been part of the game since Alpha. If your format can't handle it, the format should be changed or banned, not the card.

I think sol ring is fine because it can't ususally power anything out turn 1 - not without a really spectacular draw. Mana Crypt doesn't have this problem however, and should be banned

To me, it sounds like you never took advantage of the alchemists space. If you DID do that in the first turn, YOU could have been the one exploring instead. It sounds more of a 'you didn't know how to plan ahead' more than 'this game doesn't give you choices'. Also, exploring isnt THAT crazy good. When you flip a door or a room, you get a single resource for that. You can gain way more by having workers augmenting gaining wood or steel as well as cards that can get you even more.

It’s very rare that a deck doesn’t need or want Sol Ring. But at the end of the day it’s up to the player base to cut Sol Ring or Arcane Signet. If you want more creativity in your deck, run other ramp in that slot

gold is WAY better than treasure. You can have an effect to tap a token for mana, improvise also works! and then also sacrifice for mana, it can be used for 2 manas in many situations. Not tapping for the mana creates many differences, even more when you can turn stuff into creatures.

For me, the house rule is that the counter is worth 2 or 3 pts each. I feel like 1 is just too low and doesnt give the counter enough value.
