Awareness can mean different things. Recently, over something we actually do not control, a friend illustrated her displeasure for a choice I made. I did not manage it from a position of being mindful - not of my own thought, but of presence ... being there for her in the moment. I believe we both left the conversation deeply hurt. So I am working on myself - how can I center, focus, and act in a more mindful way with every conversation I have since that moment. I have stopped thinking about what I want to say, what's next... but staying in the moment, and working diligently to let go of my own emotions.

Lisa's point about a mind trap, and the need to shift your focus away from a thought that you cannot stop replaying, really resonated with me. I found myself recently centered on one thought, and yet pulling in every other scenario (completely unrelated) into the same scenario. I had to define what was hurting me in the original scenario in order to let go of the thought - shining the light on it, to Gina's point. Forgiveness is truly critical - forgiving others and myself.

It is so difficult to watch another human as they stay in a co-dependent relationship. They cannot see nor hear what they are actually putting themselves through. They dwell on past pain and carry the guilt into the current situation - which is not healthy. And, yet, there is so little I can do to help. They do not mind hearing suggestions; but refuse to walk away. It is an addiction at a level I do not understand and I want so much to help...

Amazing! this reflects in every area of people's lives - whether in a relationship, being promoted at work, starting a new business, etc. -- Are we really worried we are leaving others behind? Or should we use that fear, leverage that fear, to push us further? -- Most of us do not have enough self-love to stand in our power. Thank you for the insights on how we can center and focus forward.

I appreciate the insights from the Global Holistic Coaches! Fear vs wisdom, loud vs calm, and other examples make it clear when the ego mind is clouding the situation. Thank you so much this video.

Saying sorry can be viewed as both a strength and a weakness depending on the situation!

As I listen to this, I realize how often I say "sorry" when I don't mean it as an apology. I regularly use it to soften the message I'm delivering or to put the other person a little more at ease. Saying "sorry" all the time can come off as weakness. too. I'm going to work on that. Thank you!
