In me you see a man alone, held by the habit of being on his own.....yep, thats about it. I have an extensive Sinatra collection and seen him live 3 times, nothing like his songs😮

I think Elvis looked pretty darn good here. What’s with all the years of fat Elvis crap? This is less than 2 months of his death. Long live the king! ❤

This one really hits home..I'm a man in my late 50's whose divorced & single again. Was brought up by parents who adored Frank. As a child I listened to the album, "My Way" on the record player endlessly. Such heartfelt wisdom in Frank's music that I find comforting. I thank God for blessing the world with his musical genius 🙏. RIP Old Blue Eyes. You put smiles on a lot of our faces. I'm grateful for having been able to see him perform on two occasions.

i've always loved sinatra's "a man alone" album from the time i was in my late teens. and don costa's arrangements were on the level of nelson riddle's arrangements of "only the lonely". this is art.

Frank Sinatra was just another man in this world,, he wasn't spared anything while living HIS life,, as is the case with any man, from anywhere on this earth~!~ We all laugh, cry, and........ wonder-why~!~?~!~ All Frank had over the rest of us, and most other singers, was the most unique vocal chords of all time~!~ He suffered just like the rest of us and in some ways,, suffered more than most~!~ I am a jazz/blues guitarist of 45 years, and I worked my azzz off during those years,,,,, trying HARD to establish my own sound/technique~!~ I realized that virtually no one among the guitar masters besides Joe Pass, and a couple of others, emulated the vocals ~closely~ on lead guitar~!~ I decided that I would try my best at literally taking lead vocals and turning them into guitar statements. Of course I would add my own chord changes, and alter my lead lines ~just enough~, to keep the audience guessing and wanting more~!~ Plus using techniques I learned from the great ~Larry Carlton~, (the man who can DELIVER THE SHIVERS) some people from the audience would actually tell me that they got the chills from my lead melody lines~!~ That always made me so very happy,, because Larry Carlton gave me the shivers all the time~!~ Mr. Sinatra does exactly the same thing to us ALL~!~

Why are they still talking about Elvis when he died on August 16th 1977. Today generation don't know anything about Elvis Presley. I turned 20 years old on August 16th 1977. It is stupid of people trying to bring him back to life. Let the man rest in peace and leave you alone.

Those jumpsuits didn't help with a 42 yr old regular man's body. I see where some reports had him at 350lbs. No effing way. 250? Probably. I'm 6'2 and had been 350 at one time. He's no where near it. I'm 235 now have that physique. If you've been to Graceland to see his suits from the early 70's to the 77 suits, he till wasn't a big man. His Aloha suit and the 68 leather suits show he was very thin , almost too thin. But on camera looked great. The camera does add weight for sure.

He looks good here. We saw on March 28, 1977 and he looked good and put on a great show. We were shocked to see film of his last concert. Last photo of him driving his beloved Stutz he looked better. Breaks my heart that the beautiful talented man we loved/love so much was taken so soon.

Yeah,. I was there that night, of course! I’m not sure that wasn’t his best concert ever! He was spot on,. In every way! He was relaxed, confident,. I really think he was coming into his own! Then just a few weeks later he was getting ready to go on tour again,.& he was really excited about it,. But,. He was nervous about it,. About what the media would say about him! And then,. He was gone,. He left the building for good!
