Why farm when you can use CHIM

Late to the party, but there's a house in Anvil owned by Arvena Thelas which houses 5 rats in her basement. It's slightly slower, but they're plenty more convenient than the Haunted Mine location. They're unaggressive at first, so one simply needs to aggro them with a Drain Skill spell. When armor gets low, just exit the basement to break their aggression instantly. It's been my go-to combat training area. Can do even more with DLC via Fighter's Stronghold, by getting the training weapons from the sparring partner. Zero damage, but they still give xp. They also have insanely high item health, so they can even be used to train Armorer by using them for that or using the Amulet of Disintegration. (Wow, the DLC really cracks the training methods wide open.)

pickpocketing Claudius Arcadia in the imperial city prison will not get you any trouble and no fear of gettign caught, even if the guard is standing there

Instead of shawdowmere I utilize the NPCs at the Peryite shrine. None of them can die and they are "asleep" standing up. It is a lot faster than Shadowmere

ATTENTION: A very important thing to note about the Peryite Shrine farming method is that of you decide to farm Destruction on it, it will probably crash your game. This happened with me on PS3, and it corrupted my save file; I had to delete the save file to resume playing. Oblivion has a system where it doesn't save often, which can prove tedious while a save file is corrupted. I dont know if this happens always, if it happens on other ports, or if there is a set time which it will crash, but from my experience, I spent an hour (real time)training Blade on that guy to the right of Er Teeus (names Marcel of sumn) and everything was fine, but then right after, I casted a few destruction spells, and I couldnt save or reload and the game crashed. Lemme know of there's anything I missed or if it happens on other ports of the game and so one. Have a blessed day, Hero of Kvatchs.

For those that dont have access to shadowmere or have already completed peryites quest theres also the everscamp quest which you can use to grind skills like blade and blunt or heavy and light armor if yog allow the scamps to attack you

I used the same Daedric Cuirass for the whole armor grind by repairing it to 100 at lvl 75, selling it to a merchant, walking out of the shop, back in, buy it, duplicate away. Wouldn’t have had to bother if I had remembered to make a second copy right away, but hey, hope this helps someone.

If you have armor 75+ and dupe any piece of armor then repair that armor to 125 it will be put in stacks of 2 and you can sell them a little quicker if you are trying to level mercantile

Did you know that in order to farm [SKILL] you'll need to have completed the Dark Brotherhood questline up through The Purification to unlock Shadowmere?

I remember for magic after making my "training spells", i got a small crayon, cut off the pointy end to make it flat on both sides, and placed it in my C key and weighed it down with a small book balanced on top of it

A faster method of leveling hand to hand starts as soon as make a character. Do the glitch to walk through walls and escape your cell and get into Valens cell. Because you aren't supposed to be in there he can not die and you can just beat on him until you max out. Then just glitch back into your cell and play the game as usual. I mostly like this method because you get to punish Valen for how toxic he is.

Also in my personal experience he falls off the bridge relatively rarely. 2:16:00 "Fixed gates" Trivia: The fixed gates that have exactly the same layout every playthrough are the gates that are required to be closed for "Allies for Bruma" quest that are closest gates to open to each city (except Leyawiin as there is another generic non-quest related gate that is closer to town) plus Kvatch gate, Bruma gate (for MQ quest) and Bruma Great Gate (for grand sigil stone).

You can also go and actually PLAY thefucking game instead.

stumbled upon this cause im replaying oblivion. im doing a luck based character (thief + luck/end starting) so of course i simply HAD to efficiently lvl this character. ive only messed up two lvls so far, lmao. im rusty, its fine im fine. ANYWHO, im not even using the dupe glitch, so i know its gonna take me much longer this time around, but i figured id throw my two cents in, most of this is very old info, and not as fast as any mentioned in this video, but some of them are easier, and its what i personally do, so. 1.) armorer, repairing gear from fallen enemies, even if you are just throwing it back on them. this is most useful super early game (under 25 mercantile) bc gear is effected by repair condition, so youll want to fully repair to sell in the first place. but even afterwards, its a nice/easy way to continually keep armorer exp coming in. the more reliable method is training it alongside block, heavy, or light armor, repairing those as you train. 2.) block/light/heavy armor, i still just use mudcrabs, by vilverin, lowest difficulty. 1 when im lower lvl, 2+ when you can handle it. set a heavy object on shift (my block) to just keep block perma up and let them hit me. can cast heal spells for restoration exp as well as keeping yourself healed. there's multitudes of places you can have them hit you into a corner so you are trapped. 3.) blade/blunt/h2h/marksman/destruction/etc, the sheep at weynon priory! max difficulty. i personally use a resto spell to heal them, but you can just wait if you want. 4.) alteration - protect spam 5.) conjuration - summon skele spam 6.) illusion - starlight spam 7.) mysticism - detect life spam 8.) restoration - heal spam when i self damage, train any of the above, etc. its so slow i try to layer it into anything truly. 9.) alchemy - visiting alchemy shops, buying everything under 20g, and just harvesting ingredients regularly. it is much slower than dupe, but still faster than most things! i find it most rewarding to stock up for a bit then do a big creation haul and sell. 10.) acrobatics - spam jumping pretty much any low roof spot. i train this in the tutorial to at least 25 generally. 11.) mercantile, speechcraft, and security i dont do anything specific with, i just naturally get those over the course of a character. i do TRY to split item stacks (so selling potions 1 by 1 instead of the full stack, same with arrows, or scrolls, etc.) its much easier to sell 14 steel arrows, 20 dwarven, 10 daedric arrows here and there 1 by 1, than sell bulk, for me. 12.) sneak - pickpocket adoring fan or sneaking near someone sleeping, depending on if i want something active or afk. this was a lovely watch tho, thank you. <3 learned some stuff, relearned other things, very helpful.

Speedrun shower thought: Are save clips actually safe? 42:20 "She's (Caminalda) like invincible for some reason" I believe that the reason is that you are supposed to "hold off" until the battlemages come to your rescue. You are just not supposed to be the person who kills her.

11:45 "Which required getting all 10 Ayleid Statues" I'm pretty sure it was just a misspoken number (or you just always think in the 100% completion frame of reference), but actually 3 is enough.

XBOX 360 DUPLICATION All you need is a bow and arrows. 1- Draw the bow like you're going to shoot and just hold it 2- While holding, open your inventory and click your arrows twice. (There will be a message in the top left, that is fine) 3- After clicking the arrows twice, go to the item you wish to dupe and drop it. *Note* I had roughly 150 iron arrows while doing this, and the soul gems exploded, so be sure to do this somewhere with open flat space, preferably Frostcrag Spire DLC. It was very easy for me so much so I couldn't believe it when the soul gems spawned in almost broke my old 360

Instead of having to join the Dark Brotherhood got they the Peryite’s Shrine for some Unkillable people who can’t report you. Just get one stuck between the Boulder and the shrine and start swinging. But make sure to not do the quest or they’ll unfreeze.

Great video! You should have done the Mages guild glitch to have 2 apprentice’s follow you at once to add another person. Also for the Shivering Isles you could have had a Skin Hound follow you as well✅

For heavy armor you can do it as soon as u start the game when you go in the hole in the wall then down the way you get to the point where the goblins and the goblin with the staff are and a rat pen in the middle and just stand there I got to hundred
