Looks like a good touchdown to me. The catch was after the contact. He didn't make a football move until after the contact. You have to watch it in real time to get an accurate portrayal. Freeze frame does not tell the whole story. Good job Tommy!

Not true. Once the balls not wobbling and it had possession that's the catch point. We've always done that. Finger tip counts as a part of the hand. He doesn't have to make a football move before he's tagged. Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard and we've never said that for over 20 years of doing this

Also making a football move after a catch has nothing to do with being tagged or even tackled in the NFL. That only applies to when the ball comes lose after trying to make a catch. That's only applied to a situation when it's either a fumble or an incomplete. Thats not what happened here. The catch was made. It was about whether he was tagged after he regained control and you clearly by freeze frame can tell better the answer than if you watched in regular play.
