It's ridiculous to have to pay to get a pass in such an advanced program. They need to fix this situation with an update.

I agree that a free, native option for something so essential to offline rendering would be ideal, especially with the current focus on the Movie Render Graph. Until that happens, I hope my tool provides a helpful solution, and I’m always open to feedback and suggestions to better meet users' needs.

it's important to recognize that Unreal Engine, while incredibly robust, is not designed to include every possible feature out of the box. Independent developers often step in to fill these gaps, investing significant time and expertise to create tools that enhance the core functionality of the engine.

Yes it can. We have a new update coming out this week that have the tool work with Sky Lights and Distance Lights inside blueprints. Further updates for point, rect and spot lights inside blueprints will be coming soon.

I tried so many times to render an accurate cryptomatte that matches the beauty pass, but it's not really matching; it's almost not usable. I'm really overwhelmed with it, btw I'm using Nuke too. Is the cryptomatte you render accurate with you? Or is it that Unreal Engine can't produce accurate Cryptomatte? It's like when I select the cryptomatte in Nuke, the edges are not matching the beauty pass, which makes it not really usable, and if you know how to make it accurate, can you tell me how or refer me to a source? Thank you! No, as far as I know the only way to make use of the Multi EXR in Unreal is with Post Process Materials which only affects the material of the object and not the lighting information. In the bones the tool splits the lights into separate renders, and you use actor tags to tell the tool which lights you want to be rendered together and which lights you want to be rendered separately. The original goal was just to create a rendering tool that makes it easier to deal with Lights and AOVs. The new goal is complete tool that can be easily integrate into a pipeline that helps manage with not only AOVs, but manage them in separate render layers.

Will have new updates in November for Version 5.5. The tool mostly focuses on Object Visibility for Raster Render. There is an easy way to get holdouts for Pathtracer since 5.2. Search for Holdout on the actors in your details panel and activate.
