Really liked your video, you are very insightful and I wholeheartedly agree, sexuality is mostly fluid even if many people have difficulty admitting it. Good luck with all your endeavours!

I want you to know that God does not hate you you are is who you are nobody can take that away from you not out all because you are is just who you are and if you want to truth about that on you to find you as a person in your individuality why would you wanna live your life for somebody else or as you’re living their lives and not your own in my eyes you are not broken Your parents and your brother just wants all the best for you and that is all they want from you and I want you to know none of this is their fault and it’s not your fault either I could come from a Christian household too but my views changed on this I use the point fingers at your kind and say that you are going to hell just for being you just for being gay and I put a stop to it my views changed entirely end you should know God defines you of who you are by your spirit I want you to stay positive and stay in the mindset of prayer and meditation and stay focused on God‘s word and God‘s word is Jesus go to him if you have struggles go to him what was your parents go to him with your brother go to Jesus Christ and he will be there for you do not let your parents get discouraged because of you being gay so what nobody’s parents is perfect there’s no such thing as a perfect family and a perfect parents and I want you to realize that I know there is no punctuations here but I’m on doing it in paragraphs or you know and understand what I’m saying here You defined yourself as your own individuality as your own person it is you the defines you as you and let God to find you for your spirituality and nobody can touch you put gods armor on you and allow his angels guide you home talk with your parents get them to see reason it doesn’t matter to me if you’re gay or not when I don’t wanna give a shit I don’t care at this point then you open my eyes to be myself as a person in as my own individual because he spoke about somebody being handicap and I have down syndrome my disability does not defined me for who I am no it is me that defines myself for who I am and thank you for making this video so much because I was truly moved when I played this video from start to finish but don’t allow people to call you names and Paul you are failed because my eyes you’re not that just trust in Jesus Christ read the Bible study it do it your parents want but sure that is due balance of them and we’re not understand it then they will come around just read a Bible meditate on God‘s word and pray and stay in that state of meditation do not allow anyone tell you to live your life for them because you are your own person your parents can’t tell you what to do or how to live your life according to your standards or your own standards it doesn’t mean anything and I know what I am talking about when it comes to this self advocacy and don’t have people to tell you how to live and in my eyes that is saying something for free to make a video about if you like

Thank you for your courage and for sharing your story. A friend advised me, "Relationships that begin with sex don't last." This applies to gay or straight. Relationships take time to develop. We should also try to find friends with similar interests to be a boyfriend or girlfriend. Rod McKuen would say words similar to the following at the end of every act. "It does not matter who you love or how you love, but that you love. The good in man is God made manifest and loving is the contribution to that good and to that only God. For in the end the act of loving anyone is the act of loving God." Love is love.

Wow, what an incredible young man! So much wisdom in his poignant words. His insight into life usually takes many years and experiences to figure out, yet he has already accomplished it at just age 25. So very refreshing to see and hear this from a young gay man. I see so many KZbin postings from other gay guys who have such shallow and superficial outlooks, behaviors and philosophies, which seem to center strictly on themselves and their sexual indulgence with short-lived gratification of casual sexual hook-ups, the endless cycle of going from one to another to another. Whatever happened to falling in love and building a solid relationship with another, giving real substance and meaning to one's life? Joey, you are so grounded and indeed a very special young man and if my partner of over 50 years and I would have ever been blessed to have a child such as you, we'd be eternally grateful and so very proud of you! Thank you for such a beautiful video and sharing your story with the world.

Joey so proud of you buddy! As a parent , I am proud of you because you wanted to encourage that person who is fighting to survive. God loves you so much. And like any relationship, your is no different. Your story rocks and the fact that you cared so much for the other person fight for acceptance was emotionally uplifting and inspiring. Mom and Dad you gave him the tools he needed to be a winner.

Here is how your story made me feel: You speak as if you are walking on an I-Beam 10 stories up, with one false move and you could fall. Everyone is looking at you and you are trying so very hard to please. I think what we see is a young man that is very strong, very good, but in actuality, he is walking on an I-Beam that is only 3 inches off the ground. It is still a challenge to balance 3 inches up, but if you fall, you will STILL BE OK. Thanks for your story!
