@@brokeboysoffroad8819 it most likely wouldn’t have budged if it were welded correctly for the material you used instead of cutting corners. read any FIA or SFI chassis book (people who are paid to make rules and insure driver safety) and it’ll tell you what you need to know and why you can but shouldn’t wire weld chromoly and why if even preheated it would not certify.

@@brokeboysoffroad8819 I build racecars that smack walls at over 200mph sometimes with no compromised tubes they just fold around the weld as yours would if you used the correct tool to weld that thing up.

You guys are fortunate to live where you are so you can ride, I love New Hampshire but unfortunately limited on where to ride I worked on my 14-year-old granddaughter's ATV recently to get ready for next year and brought it up to near-perfect condition. Enjoy working on mechanical things to get it just right as you guys do! I know my granddaughter would love to have a little turbo boost! Come-on!
