What’s the technique to jumps on a bike? Do you pull the handle bars up, jump on the pedals or nothing really? 🔥🔥💵
@shredian3 ай бұрын
@@TyDesignerd I’m the worst jumper. Body positioning needs to be straight up and down while pulling and the bars to suction your feet against the pedal. I just end up getting bucked most the time haha. I’m getting better tho!
@zajones06203 ай бұрын
@@shredian does a great job describing what he is doing to jump. I think, however, this technique is ultimately why you see him case (land slightly short) on the jumps when the guy in front of him is clearing them cleanly. The Loam Ranger put out a video about 2 years ago where he explains more proper technique in terms of what it actually feels like when you are riding, and that video is the best explanation I've seen on jump technique. Shredian - keep on shredding! Didn't mean this as a negative commentary. Really enjoyed the video and the sneak peak of the new trail. Hoping to get to ride it myself this weekend.

In what ways could I benefit mentally from mountain biking?
@shredian3 ай бұрын
@@TyDesignerd mountain biking is always a great way to free your mind. To be mindful and live in the present and focus on what’s in front of you. It’s a lot like snowboarding too! At least for me that’s how it works. The worries of everything else comes after you’re done tho lol. But at least while you ride you feel liberated and free.

it was kinda a mess at the top, the climb took longer than a lot of ppl realize so you ended up going after ppl in a slower class or younger riders who don't know the rules yet. But in a race you should for sure be yelling for them to move over, we are all in the zone and you gotta break that.
