Yes--the lane where it happened is just a couple of hundred metres up the road from it.

NO. the Retenden Range Rover murders were close by but the Whitehouse farm you refer to with the Jeremy Bamber family case is nearer Colchester

Where is white house farm located ?
@shootingwithmitch592120 күн бұрын
@@thecolliman7674 it's on the old A130, CM38DL if your coming from Chelmsford it's on the left, just before the farm itself. The postcode will take you right to it. They shoot every Wednesday from about 10am-4pm

Hi mitch nice vid. Just a quick question I'm very new to Clay's and I have tried the 'muffs' but didn't feel totally comfortable so changed to the surefire plugs which are cheap but I didn't want to splash out until I was sure plugs are for me, how much did it cost for the fitting and plugs ?
@shootingwithmitch59215 жыл бұрын
Hi, Karl Welcome to the channel. I got mine at eastern sporting and from memory, they cost £100 for the plugs plus around for £30 fitting. my set are the basic variety (pro flex passives) which means they don't have the digital inserts, though they can be fitted later as an upgrade. on the basic passive model, you can have your name or a symbol printed onto them so as to personalize them. According to Reg (the chap who fitted me), the plugs are good for about 5 years, then its recommended you get a new mould made as your ears can change shape.

Shooting with Mitch Just wondered if u knew the answer to my question, which is if a gunshot is around 155db, how do 25db snr rating cens earplugs bring the noise down to a safe level?
@Cakemonster1475 жыл бұрын
@@george1906 Most over the head ear defenders have an SNR of around 30 (with a perfect seal), so there's not much difference.

@@george1906 Hi George, sorry for the slow reply.. the short answer is I have no idea. I dont know the technical ins and outs of these things, only my experience as a user. As a user, it's my impression that they really do deaden the sound out very effectively.

Shooting with Mitch I have had both CENS and EMTEC make earplugs for me with pro impressions but for some reason they never fit right and always just let sound through, like If I yawn, there’s no sound reduction, so I think I’m going to have to just wear good foam plugs with some 3M Optime 3 ear muffs over it.
