I love the Pirahna Shotgun. Alotta folks don't use it because of the spread, but if you equip a smart choke to it, it becomes super accurate and deadly even at medium range. Add on incidiary ammo and you basically become a fire breathing dragon unleashing a damn firestorm on opponents.

I don’t know if people don’t use it because they’re not aware or because they think it’s cheap. The venom shotgun is a staple for me. It can one shot most enemies if all the grenades hit, and it’s got great AOE. Add on incendiary or cryo rounds and you have area control or damage over time too. The gun is remarkably over powered and I haven’t had trouble in a soldier play through of ME3 since I discovered it. Plus Garrus with armor piercing and the n7 typhoon and you’re basically unstoppable.

The hardest part of the game, but if Tali is with Sabotage, then everything is pretty simple. I play the game only with a basic +5 weapon. I ignore weapons and modules from the DLC, I also ignore the DLC story. The last time I started the game as Shepard from scratch without the DLC and without using health packs for experience, as a result I reached level 39 at the end of the game and the number of skill points is close to the indicator in multiplayer, 10 points more, which indicates a more or less balanced vanilla game for a new character without transferring a save. I will never want to transfer a save with a fully developed character again, so I recommend resetting the level in the save editor for ME2 and playing ME3 as a character from scratch, but with the story from ME1 / 2. It's really exciting, because you plan your development and you can really screw up if you incorrectly develop a character for Insanity. You can also play on Gold, but refuse implants and armor parts/sets, play in the default N7 Armor, then it will be at least somehow interesting to play.
