One reason why young people should do regular health tests. My Brother fell dizzy once at work he was 32. He was diagnosed with Type 2, found his kidney was already affected. A very aggressive illness that forced him with Kidney transplant. In the end he lost his life at 50. Turned out he must have been sick since his 20s and did not know about it. He was young and vibrant believing to live into his 90s. Why would a young athletic man be ill with Diabetes unless he had one of these MODY variations, I wounder.

I never played sports, but was somewhat physically active as a teen. My SVT started when I was 18, I knew something was different feeling my heart beat that fast but thought that it would just go away and never happen again. Almost two years went by and working, it happened again, only to become infrequent to frequent within a decade. I had sought treatment, though was kicked off my dad's insurance and two years later working part time, I was let go and haven't worked in six months. Was in the ER from a 9 hour Sinus Tachycardia episode, my parents told me I was pale and slurring my words, later on after 7 hours of being admitted in the hospital, was diagnosed by the main doctor that I have PSVT in which he strongly recommended an ablation, but I'll try beta blockers first until I get tired of medication and want to have a somewhat normal life after an operation.

I am 34 and diagnosed last year with PsA. I’m a land surveyor, even my doctor can’t understand how much this is killing me. Because she does not have empathy. You’re lucky your doctor spent an hour and a half with you. My NP spent 15 min telling me about it. Probably because I have shitty insurance so I will remain in my poor grave with my poor family (deceased) hahahahaha this makes me feel like I’m going CRAZY.

First SVT episode in 1988 at university when 24. This April (2024) at 60, I'm finally having an ablation in Slovakia. Mine were very intermittent - once every 3-4 years, so didn't affect my lifestyle but I noticed that more recent ones I got more symptoms - chest tightness, slight nausea, sweating so a 60-year-old heart is not quite as resilient as a 20-/30-/40-year old heart. Have been reassured by most of the KZbin videos on SVT ablation on KZbin.

Keep your blood pressure down! For me excessive salt, sugar, alcohol, stress were triggers. The pvcs always came with high blood preasure, for me 135/85 + was bad. Drink lots and lots of water!

This service offered to the Lake County community is admirable. The mobile clinic effectively addresses the disparities experienced by the underserved population by providing free health screenings, referrals, and health education.

I'm 28 and was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis a year and a half ago. I spent 4 years telling my family doctor about my foot pain and discomfort/pain throughout my body and arms. he was reluctant to refer me to a specialist because he said the specialist would say the same thing as him (which was him not knowing why I was in pain, which is dumb because that's what seeing the specialist would be for). He finally referred me to a specialist in 2021. She ran some scans and blood tests, discovering that I had markers for arthritis in my bloodwork. I was finally referred to a rheumatologist who has been so nice and helpful. I'm on a medication now that has been life changing. Before, I couldn't play sports let alone walk a few blocks (I'd take the bus for what should be a normal 10 minute walk). Now, I feel like my age again and can move around comfortably

I went through many of the painfull problems described by the people in the comments below.Five years ago a I went Vegan as a last resort and my skin and joint pain cleared up in just 4 days.I know everyone is different but it is worth a try! I have had no repeat of the Arthritic pain since going on a p!ant based diet and my skin problems is restricted to dandruff in my scalp that I deal with by using a dandruff shampoo daily!

I'm 54 and her description of her symptoms is literally me today - in bed with hip pain after vacuuming the apartment and doing laundry. I have psoriatic arthritis and am on immunosuppressants. I was walking with a cane for 6 years but had a knee replacement, and now walk unassisted. I work full-time, which is hard work and I get to the weekend with very little left, but I am also nearly finished a Master's degree (part-time). The fatigue and pain are tough but I am stronger.
