So cute in the butter tubs. Perfect little baby high chairs for feeding the little baby Harris Hawks. Don't forget the little late hatched baby on the far end! So cute!

You can’t buy these Hawks. It’s illegal to have birds of prey as pets. They don’t make good pets anyway. The only way to legally keep one of these is to be licensed as a falconer. That was a stupid and ignorant question as these birds can grow to be quite large and what, keep them in a bird cage? They will die being caged.

Fantastic video. Beautiful birds, i do have one tip however, go and unplug your landline telephone, take it outside, smash it with a sledge hammer and find the nearest skip and throw it in. Lmao, just kidding each to their own. I couldnt have that ringing in my house, its like a bloody fire alarm.

Cheers, il give it all a go and hopefully hel become more focused on this type of prey. he must be very fit to be catching woodies. btw what weight is urs flying at?

Feeding them up on carcasses and I put a pair of magpie wings on my swing lure !! But when they put the effort in a catch their first magpie or crow, let them eat as much as they want ! Then they learn, when they put the effort it, they get a big reward!! I caught 3 magpies last season, this season I am on 4 magpies 4 crows 5 woodies and a jay ! All because he knows he gets a big reward when he puts in the effort :) ATB Dan

Great fitness in your hawk. I caught my first cock pheasant yesterday with my male harris. :) how did you manage to get him catching magpies on your other vids. i focused on rabbits last season but ther are few about this season so i would be grateful for any tips on catching magpies or crows as there are plenty round me
@The05nbroster12 жыл бұрын
Very nice :) How did u get him catching magpies? My male can consistently catch rabbits but has never attempted a flight on magpies or crows even though he is keen on pheasants. Do you have any tips?
