I want to like this service, but looking at some of their bundles, the chicken comes out to $15 per pound, and the beef almost $28 per pound, which includes simple ground beef. That seems outrageously high. I know a local butcher shop that sources good quality meat and it’s significantly less than that.

In the beginning you need to balance electrolytes: mainly salt and potassium - everyone is different so cannot say how much but it also changes through your journey as your body heals.. Always add magnesium.
@markwallace15055 ай бұрын
I had to drastically increase my salt intake with an occasional electrolyte drink to get things figured out. We don't realize how much salt is in the SAD and now will need to up that sodium. Careful with what type of magnesium you take. Can cause diarrhea which will cause more electrolyte loss. Dr. Berg has good advice on this.

@@markwallace1505 Magnesium Glycinate is the best oral supplement. But your body actually does best with absorbing it through the skin. So epsom salts or magnesium powder in your bath.

Why would we need to consult a _"healthcare professional"_ when switching from an unhealthy high-carb low-fat diet to a very healthy keto or carnivore diet?
@thisscreensucks5 ай бұрын
They need to say that yo cover their ass for the nonsense they promote. Humans are omnivores, look at our evolutionary history. Carbs aren't unhealthy, you've been duped.
@TheFolkhead5 ай бұрын
I would love to consult with a healthcare professional, except they are anti-carnivore and keep talking about high cholesterol.

Almost like modern medicine knows an all meat diet is insane.
@@AloneAgainstAll8855 You've been lied to. It's in every cell of our bodies, used to repair and create new tissue, in all hormones, helps in vitamin D production, facilitates electrical impulses, etc.. If we produce it, how can it be bad for us. More studies are showing low cholesterol levels lead to psychiatric issues, alzheimers, dementia, neurological disorders, blah blah blah. The pharmaceutical industry wants you sick. Healthy or dead means no income for them.

The benefits of following the carnivore diet correctly will presumably include developing scurvy and extremely high cholesterol.

I've been thinking about signing up with these guys recently. Really cool they let you pause the subscription/skip a month if you want, I was worried about that since fall is coming and I might not be grilling as often. Appreciate the review, going to pull the trigger finally!
