I searched for many years for this song. As a child of the 70's, I remember that kodak moment. I feel a bit sad for those that never experienced the joy of a beautiful song that didn't have a massive concert or video attached to it.

Truth never fades whether 1970s or 2020s. Times of our life will one day flash back into our minds. Make it memorable as this song says.

Paul Anka is a gutsy guy. As a teenager he departed Canada on his own for New York to find his way in a sometimes tough business.

This takes me back to 1976 -77 when I was on the yearbook staff in the 12th grade. We were going to use this song as the theme and have the lyrics throughout the book. When we inquired about using the copyrighted material, the publisher wanted $50 per line! Some lines were only one word long ( remember) or three words long and it would have been way too expensive so we had to change our plans.😢 We put a lot of effort into that yearbook because we knew we were capturing the times of our life. And now 48 years later you look back and it seems like it was only a few years ago. When you have more days behind you than in front of you, your priorities change. Now it's time to make every day count!

God the memories and nostalgia this song evokes. I was nine in 1975 and I remember this song from the Kodak commercial. I see it was released and peaked at number 7 in the US in February 1976. Funny I don't really remember hearing it on the radio, though I remember this song so clearly from my childhood. It must have been the touching Kodak commercial coupled with the sweet words and melody of the song and Paul Anka's beautiful voice that combine to make this song so inspiring and touching in my memory. This song makes me think of fabulous childhood moments that actually were probably never there. Like many, my childhood was a mixed bag. But as you get older, you realize how great childhood was, in many ways, compared to the responsibilities of adulthood. Anyway, I think of the best Christmas memories (did one of the Kodak commercials highlight Christmas?), the best moments of growing up with my sister and my parents. In some ways I feel I'm projecting good memories that weren't actually there, but if the song can evoke that then it must be very powerful.
