In using AI to define some of the key terms, would it hurt me in the long run to ask it to simplify the explanation to that of a 5 year old?
@ArcherNewton
@ArcherNewton 18 сағат бұрын
Nope! But eventually u want to learn the more complex definitions. I often ask it to simplify it to me first

That's NOT a mind map. A mind map is focused on a central topic, the main branches (the subtopics) and the details. This is incorrect. You gave a bad example.
@ArcherNewton
@ArcherNewton 18 сағат бұрын
Having a central idea is a suboptimal way to aid the cognitive processes in chunking and creating deeper schematic links between information. Most people just put a title in the centre which is non functional

Can you talk about relevance, prior knowledge , order control and curiosity. What does it mean to start with relevance. A practical example would be great I’m confused about that and can’t make a mindmap that I can retain and not bored while doing it

I cannot quite grasp the concept of leverage. If I have an exam due on Saturday and it's Thursday and I haven't read anything, the best place to start is by doing exams? That would give me the best leverage in the time available?
@ArcherNewton
@ArcherNewton 8 күн бұрын
In this case, usually practice exams is the easiest way to find where you can get the most leverage (ie best bang for your buck (your time)). If you do some exams, you can quickly find your weak areas, and then you can focus on those to fix those quickly! Best of luck!
