I hated it .i went to bridlington ,stood in the rain for nearly 2 hours .,watched his performance right up to pencilfull of lead ......i could,nt even clap at the end .i,d waited all nite for his original and i got that........gutted .the rest of the show was amazing but you never change a clasic song .......sorry mate but for me an epic fail

como69 - Nah, I disagree! Let the lad develop and progress - and he's doing it wonderfully! PFOL was a pastiche of Louis Prima (1930s-1940s); Paolo was probably sick of re-creating that swing/jazz era version. This version keeps the song alive, rather than never singing it again. I "love" the original - so I listen to the CD when I want to hear it. But I really do like the new version too. Re-inventing a song is progress! Now there are two versions to enjoy - one for you, two for me! BTW - I was at Bridlington too; got soaked to the skin as you did - but enjoyed every minute of the experience. Peace, from a 56-yr old fart! Haha!

That was fantastic!!! ... I've been searching for the Paisley show just to hear the crowd's reaction when he sings ..."I'm used to Glenfield Road and spending my time down in Orchy" ... amazing footage. This song makes me homesick every single time I hear it....
