I’ve made several Roman shade so I understand the process, where do you buy the ring tape or do you sew rings individually? The ring tape I’ve purchased, from a sewing store by the yard, in the past, was all uneven and it didn’t work very well. Thanks! Searching for a chord less version…..

the HUGE thing in this is , how much fabric you put in the pleat, judging by stripe it is 3-4 inches, , the proportions are beautiful, but if you put 6-9 " or so will be a completely different look

The Bias binder foot I ordered doesn't have a funnel. You are supposed to put already made bias tape in it, I guess.

Hi Jen, thank you very much for offering advice. I will need a bit as I am a guy whos had a some exposure to a sewing machine but, this would be a huge delicacy for my home. I am confident I can hack and stitch this up.. I just hope the stitching doesn't show my lack of experience but, I am going to put it to the test. My question: I have one window opening with three vertical casement windows within it. I want a Top Down Bottom Up Roman Shade. I understand the cords would be on the outside edges and none are suggested within the middle areas. The overall window area is 70" wide and 40" tall. (Question: Wouldn't it be ok to stitch in a opening on the very bottom to insert a solid horizontal bar and 2 more across the verticals to prevent the " excessive relaxed swag". Thank you

This is a waste of time and very misleading!

BIG thumbs up! I had to hunt up my darning plate to eliminate dog feed movement but that 5 min was far outweighed by the 45-60 minutes saved in sewing on rings to three roman shades. Front side looks great and no puckering! The machine stitches look far better than my hand sewing has turned out on other roman shades I've done.
