Followed your build and it worked out perfect. I dropped the broom down further and it made a difference. Thank you for sharing this video

Thanks for this video! I'm rebuilding the 2150 carb on my grandpas 76 F100. She was running STRONG but sat for 6 years and now the carb is nasty and gunked up.

I'm checking out videos like yours. I've got a 3' stretch settled due to squirrels burrowing in the gravel, UNDER the edge of my paver patio, and it's settled.😡 Thankfully, the squirrels haven't come back, but I can't get paver company to touch it, so, I'm going to have to do it.☹ I know it's a "simple" looking job that is worse when you attempt it, but, I'm tired of looking at the tilted pavers. This helped get an idea of the process; a pro installer's video I watched advised to take more blocks out than appear are settled, so there's a larger level surface to adjust to.😕✌🏻

pressure testing caps work a lot better for end caps. Try them and see.

Son of a Bitch! HK fanboy here. I did not know HK made lawnmowers. Now I'm gonna have to spend way too much money on a mower. But, it'll be the best mower in the neighborhood.

I’ve watched countless videos on DIY striper kits and this is honestly the best and most comprehensive one. Just to clarify, the photos at the end are of stripes layed by the second striper with the overlay end caps, right?

Tell you are an engineer without telling me your an engineer. You probably make 225k a year and were too cheap to spend $100 on a manufactured product, but went to home depot and spent $50.00 and your entire Saturday monkeying around in the garage.

Nice job, I subscribed because I like the striper kit build AND the level of detail provided (most don't want to take that kind of time). Plus you probably do the same in other videos.

Good Effort - (HUGE BUT). All These Roller Mods have ONE HUGE FLAW! Not Only are you going to Use More Fuel Especially on a Large Lawn LARGE Meaning 600-800Sq+, Due to Extra Weight and A lot more Drag , A Self Propelled Mower is Designed to have enough Propulsion & Power to Propel the Weight of the Mower with a Grass Catcher at Max NOT an Extra 18-20Pounds of Drag. Major Point Also is The Only Good Rear Roller Allows the Catcher to Removed and Put on Without Removing the Rear Roller. Otherwise Your Mowing the Lawn x2 or More To Pick Up the Clippings Because 80-90% of People Don't Mow there Lawns Every Weekend. And That's Way to Much time for someone to be Mowing a Backyard Lawn, Also Barely Anyone has a Side shoot Mower and No One Really Wants Loose Grass all over their Lawn Without a Catcher. Nice Concept But in My Mind the Best Invention Would Allow ....2 Major Things? 1. Bearing Attached to the Front Connection Tube Head (Larger Pipe Attached to Broom were it Connects to the Back of the Mower with a Flat Mount Bearing, Removing the Slop and Play making Turns Way Smoother and Even Rolling & 2. It has to Allow for the Catcher to Be Left on and Removed so You Only have to Mow the Lawn Once and Maybe a Second time for a Low Cut Line At Max. Otherwise it's Not the Best Concept and Very Time Consuming Mowing Some Grass for Looks.

At 3:55, that lever your taking off the choke plate, is it keyed or splined so it can only go back on one way?

I really appreciate that you made it this video, also I will like to make a question, I hope that someone can give me an answer. I have a 78 ford thunderbird, for around 6 or 7 months I'm trying to fix it the carburator but looks like nobody knows what's going on three guys check already and they doesn't do any good on, after the car runs 15 or 20 minutes the engine wants to shut off by self, but if I push the accelerator the car stays on, if I release the pedal the engine stops . I hope someone can give me a help, thank you very much.

By far the best DIY (though probably out of my ability level atm) striping kit video, and I've seen a bunch. Most detailed. And addresses my biggest nitpick with what I've seen in the other videos with the end caps. This is nearly perfect for my mower. Now, if I can only build it...
