The new ($35) model 59483 has a couple of changes. The media hose comes with a 4.5 in spring wrap (like on a garden hose) at the base to prevent hose collapse. The box has some typical performance specs. For example: 20 gal compressor tank, rated at 4.3 SCFM at 135 PSI -they estimate that performance will decline after 37 seconds (or stop and wait for pressure to recover). 90 PSI at 12 SCFM seems to be the sweet spot for continuous use.

System initializing goes away, screen turns black and hdd light blinks red fast. Why would this happen?
@snapwholeharborfreightreviews16 күн бұрын
do you see system initializing on the screen then it does blank? it this just started and you have not changed the display, it sounds like a weak power supply, try unhooking the cameras and restarting, this will significantly lower the power draw - you can also try starting up holding down the reset button (push button in the very tiny hole in the back, hold it until it resets to factory default, takes a lot longer than it should, so just keep holding it - first reset will be the admin password, second reset will be factory default - this might help, but I'm betting on the power supply being the issue, if it works without the camera, that is the problem, if not and factory reset also does not fix it, there is a power problem with the cameras or the POE hardward, really not much else to try...... the history leading up to the problem might give more clues, this just started all of a sudden with no warning? or was this the end of a few issues? power outage? brown -out ? thanks for subscribing!

going by the spec' in the manual, these are ONVIF compatible, but I took one of these cameras and added to a blue iris ONVIF system and the blue iris does not find the cameras, I'm going to do a network packet capture and see what the camera is doing when it gets power, I'm also going to attach an ONVIF camera that does work with blue iris to the HF system and see if it works, I'll post an update - not sure if they have discontinued the systems or just out of stock, I didn't see them in the disconnectinued items list, which is the normal path, and if HF has none in stock and non on a boat on its way here, they will drop from the website, and when they get stock again, they will reappear on the website - strange behavior overall - thanks for subscribing!

I liked this trimmer but the line would break and run out like every two feet. The line would also melt together on spool sometimes. Very frustrating.
@snapwholeharborfreightreviews21 күн бұрын
run the trimmer flat out and the self feed will work correctly - the line will not 'melf' if the line does not get a monkey knot (a winding that is supposed to be on top get under another winding that is supposed to be under the first winding) this happens when the line is put on the spool and then tension is released and then the is pulled tight again, had to avoid and requires practice to not let is release tension, but works as it should if you do not release the tension on the line, worst part of these problem is the preloaded spools HF sells come with the monkey knots already installed, so no help there - thanks for subscribing!

I never used a power drill before. I bought this at Harbor freight yesterday. What is that blue stick? Is that the bit or is the bit on the end of the stick? Going back to the store, I want to find bits that fit this drill.
@snapwholeharborfreightreviews25 күн бұрын
any 3/8 inch bit or smaller will fit this drill, most popular is 1/4 inch bits, you should be able to find a kit of 20-50 for a good price, best to have a good variety - the blue bits I use are 6 inch long PH2 phillips bits, 1/4 inch shank - the blue is a plastic coating, I like the blue because they are more visible in the toolbox, I like the 6 inch bits because it keeps your hands away from the business end of the bit, I got 10 of them for $8 several years ago, highly recommend them, I slowly buying different ones as I find them, but they are not that common - thanks for subscribing!

I replaced my hard drive with a new one still comes up as no hdd I noticed you plugged the hdd cable to a different power source.. what is the purpose behind that if it was getting power form the cable in the front of the box?
@snapwholeharborfreightreviews25 күн бұрын
only one power source can be connected to a drive at a time, I was swapping drives, testing different setups to see what was supported by the dvr, I was looking for a way to add a second harddrive, either internal or external - when I got to the point of making the video, that was the configuration I had, the power source is not important, the internal was working fine, I would recommend you reseat all the cables, and put your hand on top of the HDD while you turn on the dvr, you should feel the drive starting, it should be a smooth vibration, if it clicks, the drive is bad, if it is not powering up, the drive is bad, typically SATA drives are plug and play, if they don't come up and cables are fully seated, the drive is likely bad - try a different drive if you have one, and you can try the vibration test on the original drive for comparison, you can also switching the camera power supply with the camera power supply to see if that makes a difference, they are the same power supply, and i have seen the dvr power supply get 'weak' and not provide enough power, those are the things I would try - let me know how it goes - thanks for subscribing!

🤔... The magnet...I like that idea...but not for steel cutting tools. If you put a magnet on a piece of steel it will get magnetic. Metal filings will find a week magnetic charge and stick and you're making metal filings/dust. I will keep the magnet away from my steel cut off tools but it's a good idea that I will use for my portable woodworking although I think most of those have aluminum bases, I'll figure it out.

Ive been , along with customer service, trying to find my issue. Im a 37 yr old woman who lives alone and this is the 2nd system ive bought. Plug all up it decides when it wants to boot and you have about 7 minutes before your screen acts like nothing is connected to it and it stays like that hour or 2 . Any clue?❤
@snapwholeharborfreightreviewsАй бұрын
if you see the cameras but it goes on and off, switch the power adapters for the camera and the dvr, sounds like the dvr power supply is 'weak' - the output of the power supply is 12.2v, it is a regulated supply, some power supplies are labeled 12v, but are unregulated and are actually 16v and will likely burn up the dvr, so be careful if replacing - if you don't see the camera's on the screen, are you using hdmi or vga ? sounds like the display is not matching the video resolution setting, if vga, you'll need to try different settings on the display, I recommend 1080p, that should be the default setting for the vga output of the box, if using hdmi, you need a better hdmi cable, sounds strange, but true, I've seen that a few times, we changed the tv on this system from an older smart tv to a modern smart tv and had to replace the cable, post an update as a new message, I'll see it faster - I am interested in the outcome - more info would allow me to give a better recommendation, but I'm betting the power supply is weak, it is heating up and powering off, then cooling off and working again, I'm guessing a diode in the regulator in the power supply has a lower than normal breakdown voltage that is causing a power cycle, easy to fix if you are into electronics, otherwise it is not a user replaceable part
@BobDaley-x5qАй бұрын
@snapwholeharborfreightreviews ive swapped and thanks to you I know to check voltage before ever turning on. That didn't seem to make difference. I've tried vga and hdmi and both ways worked prior to my hard drive getting full . I made sure setting was on auto loop and saved but still same. Question? I live in rural mississippi so wifi just became an option out here. Is it possible that the system needs a firmware or software update?

Bauer actually makes 4 different 20 V drills because they have the regular non brushless drill driver plus the non brushless hammer drill and a little while back they came out with a brushless drill driver and just recently now they finally came out with the brushless hammer drill driver but according to the web site the torque is much lower than what the brushless hammer drill driver is in their Hercules brand if it is accurate because the Hercules brand claims 1200 pounds of torque where the Bauers only have like 400 or 500 each supposedly but cool video thanks for sharing and comparing because I'm always curious what the differences between the different tools are and the different drills in particular and all that.
