Hey man, looks like the transformers are out of phase. Your input going into input transformer is on the right side and it looks like the output transformer you have the wire going to the relay from the left side. That will cancel out almost half if not more of your total output. When you hook your wraps to ground, they need to be on the same side of both transformers. I may be wrong because I never could get a clear shot of the back of the output transformer, but as a builder myself with 20+ years, that's what it looks like to me. Whatever side the input is, the output must be on the same side. Let me know if that was the problem because I'm almost certain it is. It was hard to see the output transformer from the back

i had the same thing with a customers box the other day. turned out the be the transformer. got more watts out of the radio then the box itself. try to switch transformers

Is that 1000 pf cap touching the top of the transformer, grounding/cancelling it out like,you should have a space under them ,im just a beginner,but i think that was the issue.you gave us a hint ,when you showed us the bottom side of the cap touching the transformer.

If you have diodes in that circuit reverse the diodes

That output transformer that you used initially is a different "type". It looks like you mixed a 43 with a 61 initially.

I've got a 4 pill that's been doing this EXACT thing. Now I'm going to swap the output transformers. I'm going to bypass the splitter and combiner and test each 2 pill section first, but it has been driving me crazy! Thank you for giving me hope!

The transformer is NOT! creating Inductance, It is defective it happen to me years ago yep! you should have called the "Professor" but you learned the same way I did. I just didn't spend that much time on it. I changed the transformer right away and I still Have it as a keep sake.

The volt meter is getting bombed with RF. No work good!

I had the same issue with the exact same transformer this morning. I couldn’t get more than 30 watts. Swapped over to 5/8 and 2 pill did its thing.

Are your transformers wraped OUT of phase from each other?

sounds like RF is going ground and or what frequency those pills are rated for may be the issue.

5 raps on the input of the 1-Pill, input load is 100pf, 2 raps on the output of the 1-Pill, output load 180pf, Input raps on 2-Pill is 3, load is 180pf, output raps are 2 on the output, load is 150pf. This is what works for me, tested almost every other way and this was the best. I picked it up from and old Dave Made 3-Pill been using it ever since.
