Hey, I’m using switcher studio, I don’t know if you have heard of that or used it before, but we’re trying to connect another ipad to the mixer in order to get the audio from the mixer to the app. Do you know how we would connect it?

No go for me. I have an iPad that is dedicated to my machkie so no other network possibility on that device. I sit my iPad right on top of my mackie and still the app won’t connect. I need to reboot the mackie 2 or 3 times in order to get it to connect.

I solved my connectivity issue by powering up the DL32S, waiting for the slow blinking light, THEN powering up my I PAD and connecting. Once connected, WIFI connection is rock solid.

I had this experience with myDL32S. The solution I found was power up the DL32S, when the WIFI light flashes slowly, THEN power up my IPAD and connect to the DL32S and it connects EVERYTIME and stays connected rock solid all day. If I don't follow this sequence the mixer won't stay connected

I believe you have good intentions;however, you should not give out information unless you are “sure” it’s correct. A/B are for what the mixer is seeing as an input. A is for channels 1-16 or 32 and B is for playback from your computer through the usb. Stay encouraged but please double check your information

Hey. I have MAckie DL16S. I can get audio in windows and audacity but nothing in OBS. I can see the DL16S but no audio. I tried installing the Mackie USB drivers, the ASIO4ALL audio drivers, and also the OBS asio plugin but I still don't see anything. I am running OBS 28.0.2 at the moment. I have that issue and my Solution was to use Mixing Station APP. That App always finds it and it stays connected. I did pay to buy the license which is like 12 dls for ipad, 5 dls for phones.

I use a DL32R so my solution is clearly directed toward the use of an external router, and having zero experience with the DL32S wifi interface, I don't know if this can be done without an external router. But if using an external router the solution is fairly simple. Once the network is created and the mixer is connected to the network, assign an IP to the mixer and make sure it is written down (for people that, unlike myself aren't network engineers). Once that is complete, put the router in what's called "bridged mode." That simply turns the router into an access point. After doing that, each device that connects to the wifi will need to have a static IP assigned to it. What this does is it keeps any possible DORA requests from occurfing (if you ever want to know what DORA is just let me know), minimizing unnecessary traffic on the mixer network as well as enabling an immediate connection between the mixer and the wifi devices that may connect to it. I have yet to drop connection between the mixer and any devices connecting to it.

SO, I've had some fun with this. During a rehearsal, we kept losing connectivity to the mixer (it's a DL32R which I got dirt cheap since the venue didn't have people that new how to use it, and the owner just wanted it out of her office). Let me begin by saying I'm learning this mixer as we intend to use it for both rehearsals and shows with IEMs. Each guy kept losing connectivity, so in my "unfortunate rage" I destroyed the wireless router. It was cheap, so I figured it was the issue. I remembered having an Apple AirPort, which it turns out Mackie recommends. I am also a network engineer and VERY familiar with routing and switching. I put my engineering hat on and realized that I wanted to implement security on my network for the mixer to keep other devices from attaching. So I created DHCP reservations and limited the DHCP scope to the number of devices that would attach as well as assigning one IP to each MAC address that would connect. Then I thought about it. Why use DHCP. I have since put a static IP on the mixer, as well as static IP on each device (tablet, phone, laptop) that will connect and "VOILA" I NEVER lose connection anymore. In fact, It really doesn't matter in which order I turn on devices since the IP address is hard wired into the mixer, it's no longer waiting for an IP to be assigned, and thusly is connected to the network by default. I highly recommend using static IPs and making your wireless router a simple access point.

A VCA cannot be input into a subgroup. The option you demonstrate there allows the subgroup fader to be assigned to the VCA, i.e the subgroup fader will be controlled by the VCA fader. Its not going to cascade whatever audio channels you have in your VCA into your subgroup.

And another thing.... If you do some modifications with Master Fader on some device that is not connected to same network with DL you will save but when you transfer that file and you try to open on master DL device you will not see anything... So.... You have to connect that new device on same Network and save new Shows modifications and then synchronize with Show on master DL SOFTWARE and there save new modified version of file... You have to be on that network to save changes..... If you save new file on master DL it will be only there but connected and synchronized you can save it on new device too....

If you try to transfer Saved shows from some devece that is not connected to same network and is offline on some other wifi you will not succeed to transfer saved Shows on new devices, you will transfer but it will not open anything. You have to go directly connect every new device with master device but of course you have to be on same Network. Every new device have to be on same Network and connected with that working master device and then just like on that device you just save Shows on your new device. You do this with every new device, first connect to master device and than Save Shows from there to location on your new device.....

You have to be on same Network. And save Shows and then that saved Shows transfer them to new device but.... You have to connect that new device on same Network alsow. So now open Shows on new device and than Save it on some location in that devece....

People ….. update the fader 5 app. Reset you Mackie mixer (pin in little button) and connect to Mackie Wi-Fi with device. Turn on app update your firmware on Mackie mixer!!!!!!!!! Hours of videos and grey hair . That’s the fix . Also airplane mode and turnoff auto connect on wifi device you using so it don’t jump to another wifi connection
